A campaign used to be in the works for 1.9 but it has since been scrapped because there were other things that needed development. As I understand the lead developer of the campaign mod is working to improve it.

Tyranids in UA do not use influence or hive ship builders. This is for balance because in previous versions the hive ship building caused a lot of exploits.

I agree with Cylarne completely, but I have to say as a Tyranid fan, it angers me beyond belief to see people using the Leviathan default skin, as the Tyranid Leviathan skin is miscoloured as well sadly.

Its a text error, that is a dreadnought upgrade.
They have a similar thing with their titan damage upgrade.

Never had this issue, I have notcied that Tyranids have a slightly more propenisty to lag compared to last version, but unless your tier 5 and just spamming gaunts its never unplayable.

So is there any plans for a Chaos Undivided or a Malal Mark in the future? I know there are some cool Chaos Undivded stuff out there, and theres also models for all the malal demons, malal daemon prince, and others. There is enough Malal stuff out there to make them a legit mark for CSM and Daemons, so are you considering adding either of them in 1.9 or later? Or is the Current mark system complete?

Angron is a tricky one, I think it's best for us to trust Cylarne with balancing Angron. It's far too easy to make him too impractical and too overpowered. I think it's best if we trust Cylarnes judgement on what to do with him.

Like To9thecreeperorc said, Angron is way more expensive than the archangel and quite a bit more than the grandmaster, He is a walking win button. However, if you do somehow manage to kill him he takes all other daemon units with him, so if angron dies the other player is basically dead.

It helps balance the titans, there are some titans with a strong shield but are frail, this way they are suited for hit and run tactics, the shields give titans an extra dynamic that can be used to make them feel unique from each other.

Im very aware, Daemon and Tyranid Models are such a far cry from any other of DoW's base races that its impossible to find models for them without making new ones.

Is it just me or does Daemons and Tyranids have way less content than the other races?

That is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

They are only strong in the beginning, Turrets halt their offense completely, and their turrets don't allow them to set up the greatest defense. My opinon? Try using turrets or try flanking them during a push, their units are the most dangerous part of their race, the trick is to keep their units away from yours. Once you get late game, you will have the edge as Tyranids cannot keep up late game.

Titan+nuke=win for tyranids only?

I think that strat works for all races.
Tyranids just dont have any endgame content past their titan, and their "win button" isn't even half as good as any other race.

True the Hierophant is the biggest lorewise, but Ultimate Apocalypse dosen't follow lore 100%. Plus it would be cool as hell to see its bio cannon scaled to the size of an imperator you gotta admit.

Tyranid Harridan Model is on thudmeisers photobucket, but its unpolished and has no animations or anything.
