No, every once and a while I look at it. I changed something recently which started causing bugs but at this point I forget what it was that caused the problem :p

Part of the reason why it isn't on yours is because I don't have the time to work on this often. On occasion I do find the time to work on the mod, but those times are rare.
It's not dead it's the only mod that has a strategy feature :)
Not sure how true the second half of that statement is, I think there may be some other ones. At the very least some that were or are in the making.

Sadly I have to leave the mod in a dormant state. I am unable to work on it due to other things going on in my life. The mod isn't dead, but updates will be rare.
I haven't canned it yet, but it's currently a dormant project. Until I can figure out a way to fit this into my schedule, there won't be frequent or consistent updates.

It's a question of how much time I can dedicate to it. Lots of features I already have methods for implementing, but it demands a lot of time
I can't post any news (or video) since there isn't any progress to report on. As far as how many are working on the mod, it's just me, and currently I'm occupied with real life things. This is why there haven't been updates recently, modding comes after more important things in my life. That's not to say I don't want to work on it, it's just that time isn't always available.
The strategies that exist within the mod are executed by the player who acts as the commander. There are strategies that can be implemented without any dependence on the AI behavior, but for things such as squad commands, yes, the AI will respond and act accordingly.
I don't have an idea of when it will be released.
It should be 100% compatible with other mods. There is nothing in it's code that would conflict with previously installed mods.

I would really like to reshape the game, but that would require a collaboration of experienced modders to accomplish.
Some maps wouldn't be practical for the mod's purpose, so I am unsure at the moment. I don't do percentages for how much I'm done, as I don't find them all too helpful. A percentage wouldn't give a good idea of when it will be finished.

Unfortunately it isn't possible to carry over core features to multiplayer, so the mod will only be singleplayer compatible.
Once it is released the downloads tab on this page will be available. That is where you will find the download when the mod is released.
It's an adjusted Mod Tool setup suited for my preferences. Mod Tool 2.0 is really a misnomer, but since I made it specifically for my use I decided to call it that. Conclusion: you can't get it anywhere.
I've never really thought of releasing it before. Maybe one day, though it's really setup for my personal preference.
It's actually a customized Mod Tool for SWBF2; I made it myself.
You raise an interesting point. I'm considering creating a twitter feed that will contain the minor updates as they are made, reserving the articles for larger progress reports. Tell me if you all would like to see it happen.
I think I might be able to push for an update this month. It will just be a little longer! :)
