We have got some more guys working on the AI now, so check the next update and please give feedback on the Singleplayer maps in the forum, they check it all the time:

Did you start FH2 with the FH2.exe?
You get a shortcut on your desktop after installing. If you don't find it, it is located in your installed Battlefield2 directory.

Yes it is a somewhat old update, but we haven't had a dev dedicated to news and "marketing" the last couple of months, so we still wanted to update our section on this site. will make sure to post more news from now!

I dont know how far you have reached in you progress, but my advice is to change the level. Mod is called First Blood - the first thing I thought about was "Wow, first blood is a perfect L4D setting".. then, you make it Rambo II, jungle?
The town in First blood movie is awesome for L4D, make players start in the jail (like in the movie) only now ofc the town is taken over by INFECTED, so, they need to break out..(escape because enormous hordes that are impossible to fight or something) over the bridge, into the forest, etc etc.. follow the movie with the caves etc, the road back to town (at night) blow up gas-station.. stuff from the movie.
You can use many stock L4D models for this, concentrate on characters instead and edit textures so they look like from the movie, no need to make jungle..

FH2 has no interest in what points players collect playing Vanilla BF2.
We are using the Battlefield 2 engine, not the game. So there will be no unlockable weapons connected to vanilla BF2 unlock ranks.
We want each player to have the same selection of weapons, beginner and veterans alike.

Natty started making maps for fun for Battlefield 1942 in 2003. After having released a few maps he joined the online tournament Forgotten Honor (www.forgottenhonor.com) where he actively took part in the development of mods and maps for a large online playerbase. After joining the Forgotten Hope 2 development team as leveldesigner, Natty went to study game design in Sweden, which led him to an internship and later employment at a game studio in Sweden called DICE & EASY, an EA owned development studio. Current activities in the Forgotten Hope 2 development team for Natty is leveldesign, sound design, effect art and general design tasks.
