You dont know what you are talking about. Unreal has had reactive water since UE 2.5 Albeit basic it is there.

its too bad unreal mods never fair to well community wise. there have been some with great production values.

the unwrap job is horrible. The windows and windshield wipers are overlayed over all the other uv coordinates, i thought maybe they put them on a separate channel, i guess we have to do that ourselves.

the .obj has all the same information that the max file has.

i think the website messed up, when i went there yesterday all the zips downloaded fine.

Can we do our own unwrap jobs? the default ones kind of suck.

i may have a go, never really done anything like that though.

UE3. the toolset is just so much better. it was designed so other people could easily pick it up, where as cryengine is completely in-house

the model looks pretty sweet but i have to agree with the previous poster. the skulls on the shoulders are total wastage. Why not model a very simple bulge and just derive a normal map from your current skull? the rest of the model is a little poly intensive as well but not too bad.

man why didnt you guys reply to my several requests to join the mod team. I looked at what little content you had in game and some of what you were doing is baffeling....(aka a 2048x2048 blurred mess of a raptor skin) anyways good luck.

The differnce is they, dont have some update everyweek, They dont get all defensive of their work, And they show models that mean something. Your showing renders with an ink n paint material...News flash that doesnt transfer to the game, all it does is hide your poor modelling.

I think you guys think a little too highly of your work...... And how about you guys learn to accept some critisism.

wihout flaming, im not bashing this mod because its not my thing, im bashing it because the updates dont have any real content. Basically i dont think they should be plugged, until the have something allitle more tangible.

YOUR MOD IS STUPID. QUIT SHOWING UPDATES OF ESSENTIALLY NOTHING, WHEN YOU CREATE A CELL SHADER FOR SOURCE THEN COME BACK, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR 3d MODELS THAT WONT LOOK LIKE THAT IN GAME.

based on your guys previous comments its obviously you know nothing about the Modding or game design and this mod is doomed. Your model may be skinned but it sure as hell wont look like that...actually i begininning to wonder if you do know what skinning even is....

@rofl106 and no what they are showing WONT transfer to the game, you have to program a shader for that, you know something that takes talent...

this mod is really awesome, the way the guns look and feel is perfect. If you started creating alot more custom content and turned this into a total conversion and put allitle bit more of a tactical coat on it, it would destroy the other mods. Awesome job so far.

no one wants to see this stuff, produce some real content then maybe people will care
