Voted for you guys on Greenlight. Just got this from the Groupees bundle, really worth it. The story is pretty funny so far, actually made me laugh aloud a couple of times. Keep up the good work :)

Simply an amazing game, looks beautiful and scared the CRAP out of me!
I did a short gameplay video of it running in Ubuntu 12.10 64bit, but I got too scared to finish it...

The suspense gets me the most... I felt like I was going to have a heart attack.

Huge bosses, damn cool. I've never seen a sidescroller like this before. Having a Linux version makes it even cooler

Their purposes are different, but what they are is definitely still the same. Indie Bundles. I'm definitely not knocking it down, it's a much better way to sell games compared to Activision's disgusting methods for example. However, I am trying to push for multiplatform availability, because in the end what it does is benefit everyone. Consumers enjoy it on what platform they wish, and developers have a larger market audience to attempt sales at. It also never hurts to let them know what I personally feel and think in a polite manner.

Things lacking in comparison to HiB:
1. You're not getting developers to develop multiplatform, just selling what they already have supported.
2. It doesn't seem to go to charity in any way (from what I can see, correct me if I'm wrong).
3. No chance for open-source bonuses if an income mark is achieved.

The part where Linux is either not supported, or only some are supported are kind of a let down for me. However, I'm sure the indie devs are thankful for this and that there are interested customers.
I'm just trying to provide constructive criticism, please don't take this harshly.

Awesome bundle as always. Voxatron is pretty fantastic.
A shame with the Desura keys being unavailable though.

Hey, have you played LS on DoW2R? I find I can sort of glitch a Tau+Farseer character as my hero if I first use Farseer then go to Change Hero and click Tau and then back ( not ready). Leave the game, have my friend reinvite me and it will still show Farseer but during the loading screen BAM! Tau. In game you'll have a wicked weird character, uncontrollable of course. I don't know if this glitch is well known, I stumbled upon it yesterday.

Argh I had no idea it used Wine. Purchased it for Ubuntu 11.10 64bit. I hope a native version comes out because although it runs rather smooth under Wine, there are glitches in the graphics at times. Sometimes blotches of discolored pixels between each frame. It looks and somewhat feels promising though.

In all honesty, this game looked like a really crappy old skool game when I saw the screenshots.
I was a disbeliever.

I got the game in the Bundle, I played it and now I'm a believer.
Its fun level is the same as Crysis 2 for me. I just can't help but love being the friggin hero who saves people in the cities from zombies, more so when I conquer a city!
This game is amazing, DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVERS. Thats the moral story here.

myromance123 - - 20 comments @ Introducing Project Bossanova, a Linux exclusive game

So....what happened to this? Sounds like it died. They're idea of getting the community to pay for its development, then purchase it to play it is odd. What did the game win if Bossanova is not going to sponsor it? Btw, Linux exclusivity is not real...despite what the website says.... :-/

This is so true. Apparently its a stereotype with developers that OpenGL is not up to par with DirectX. What they don't seem to know is that, OpenGL is what came first...
However I think that the chances of getting DirectX ported are in the negative. Microsoft, you should know that by now.
