Sounds chaotic. I've wondered what it would be like if weapons were limited to a faux-WW1 bolt action + MGs only, or pistols only, or cowboy action (shottys + revolvers)

Guess it depends on the where you want to draw the line to balance realism vs. arcade gameplay. I think it's a cool idea, and would make me more likely to actually play the game.

Do you have a link to a 64-bit engine that works with COTZ? I've been trying to find one that works to end those out of memory crashes

Congrats on the final release, and thanks for putting all the effort in. It's a really nice amount of content the team has put together with the art, level design and varied weapons. I've had a lot of fun playing, looking forward to the endgame!

Would be really cool to see a new release. There were a lot of great ideas not seen in other BF2 mods. A few maps had optimization issues, but the customization system is incredible.

Cool mod, I had to edit the "state_lib.script" to make it compatible with EatMedKitScheme, but it seems to work! Got in a wild fight with some bandits while getting chased down and killed by dogs.

Armed variants would be awesome lol

I like the idea, though you'd probably want to remove almost all trees for it to be realistic and replace them with shrubs/bushes/cacti. Of course that goes way beyond a retexture. best of luck!

nice! just watched band of brothers, it'll be awesome to play that brecourt manor map. Not to mention the Italian and Hungarian fronts, this is the ultimate WW2 mod.

I actually liked the health system, I thought it was only hard in the beginning, once you got used to it i ended up never using up my health packs. The mapping was blocky in the beginning, but it got better as i kept playing. The attention to detail was fantastic. REALLY long mod too, not that that's a bad thing. This mod had some really nice parts to it.

I remember an article about adding senses, smells were added for a movie theatre audience and it ended up just wierding them out.

Touch, feel, and a sense of equilibrium (knowing when you're flipped upside down) for sure

But taste? unless your playing a game about being a cook it would just be strange.

Of course if a game tapped into the sixth sense that'd be awesome :p

Probably the very best most polished version of SMOD. I like it.
