sorry if this has already been asked, but are you going to nerf space marines like in dow (please dont), and if not how are you going to balance fights, it would be cool if you could set different balance factors, (so 1 member of the space marine team=about 5 other), but I dont know if that possible, nice models btw

p.s: I know I already said this but if possible dont nerf marines, or any other race, the game will suck without true to 40k values.

awesome tut man! oh and for those of you who use the gimp like myself, you first have to use the render:checkerboard function from filters, then noise: spread then you use motion blur, to make it look more like a natural wood, decrease the blur length, and use distorts" Iwarp to make whorls and such. :D hope I was semi-helpful to

This monds rather cool, definintly worth checking out,
could you guys tell me where I would learn how to mod bf 2142, I have some experience in modding as a whole, so I dont need tutorials on how to model, rig, texture etc, I just need to know which files do what, what text/other codes need changing and what editors I'll need, please help me.

sounds awesome, A cool touch would be that squad leaders got to use a different set of items, like a pistol and close combat weapon, or for tau, a more accurate rifle like in the TT game. I'm a proficient modeller, if you guys need any help I'd be more than happy to help, I do mods now, but its mount &blade, and you have to make mostly low poly models for that, it would be great to make some higher poly count models. if you need an example of my work or anyhting e-maill me at hot_geek@hotmail.com

please please please don't under power the astartes, in most video games they're little more than mortals with big guns and heavy armour, one Astartes should be able to easily kill like12 gaunts before even being seriously wounded.

Just a suggestion, I don't know if this is possible, but if you get one of those fancy helmets, or one those bionic eye dealies. YOu should get a new hud that allows you to lock on to targets, and maybye gives you heat vision and special information.

although there is already bf40k dont quit this project, it looks really cool the other project doesnt have chaos and they havent focused as much on the marines, so please dont quit this project.

love the mod I had no idea there was a wa version Im going to dl it now, cant wait for dc, suggestion, aircraft, yeh they would be sweet, there are already valkeryes, fyghta-bombas, and thunderhawks in game, and no one likes eldar, anyway, they could be summoned like deepstriek troops from a building and told to apear somewhere, although they would fly back to a barge or something in space to refeul after a while, meaning you would have to use your aircraft decisivly(spelled right?), land speeder tempest would also be cool, if you dont know what Im talking about check it out on forgeworld,

I would help you with modelling, but I should really finish my mod first. =p
