Nope not yet.
The base game Napoleon Total War. Legal version, fully updated.
Sorry there were problems with the upload and so we've had to re-upload it, meaning it has to go through Moddbs activation process again.
You can clearly see from the path your given in the error you've installed the mod to your desktop, for whatever reason.
Not possible, any nation on the map requires at least one city under their control. Hence why America probably will never feature as a faction in the campaign, but instead through unit recruitment for the Entente.
Very much so. We've made huge progress on the campaign in all areas, more on that soon.
We'll be announcing details on future plans soon, hopefully.
I agree the campaign can be easy at times, though if you play as Serbia for example I doubt you'd find it easy, that said the campaign is getting a lot of attention for our next update. :)
Well deserved first place, an amazing feat the Just Cause MP guys have achieved.
Thank you to ModDB for The Great War's awards, truly humbling and a amazing surprise.
That speech problem is merely a bug and will be fixed with the next update. Cheers.
Of course, the only way to play NTW is through Steam. :P
Yeh that TGW mod is awesome. >.>
When a civil war erupts if you are playing as Russia, you can either fight against the rebels (Bolsheviks), or you can choose to fight with them and become the Soviets.
You put the mods "The Great War" folder into the second path you described, the data folder.
All of the above. :P
The Americans even have an entire roster. The Turkish as you put it are obviously Ottomans, as Turkey was part of the Ottoman Empire at this time, however you can of course get Turkey through liberation or revolt.
We have ideas for how to get ships in, but planes I don't think can be done to an adequate degree within this game. But who knows, nobody ever thought we'd get tanks in.
You need a legal copy of the game to play the mod.
Cheers
The French are the next content update. Tanks, rifles, artillery, etc.
... and other things... secret things..
Patch 5.1.3 is now uploaded, fixes the campaign crash, another campaign issue and fixes some campaign rebel problems.
It is savegame compatible.
This patch is just a stopgap until 5.2 is released, which will have a host of new content and a lot more major bug fixes.
I'll also say now crashes on turn 1 are NOT a mod problem, they are an install problem.
Thanks.
Launch it as administrator then...
It's the industrial chain of buildings, but it doesn't have to be the player building it to cause the problem, the AI can too.
You are correct, in our own tests we put building build times to 999 turns, then we could easily get to 1918 without a single problem.
So the bad news is buildings are currently causing the problems.
The good news is when we fix them, we really should have a completely stable campaign.. finally. :P
We do. Our modeller Bdizzle offers them our models, and our lead textuered Aanker is happy to give them our textures.
We have a good relationship with the guy who does the mod, but I'm pretty sure he has all but given up on his mod.
No. I've considered the likelihood of this in the past.
It will never, ever happen. It'd take another 3 years, at least, even with the official modding tools.
Buy the game. From now on, I'll be deleting your comments.
The game is £3 on Steam ffs...
The patch is awaiting authorization on Moddb, it was done earlier but had to re-upload it.
How have you downloaded it, it's still awaiting authorization.
No, 5.1.2 is a patch, not a full version. It requires 5.1, but it includes 5.1.1 for anyone who doesn't have it.
Hey guys, I removed and re-uploaded 5.1.2, the compression algorithm used to compress the zip was only able to be unzipped by 7zip and not winZip, this is now fixed.
I also fixed a small bug in the last version so I suggest you all re-download. (When its authorized again, sorry Moddb!)
Sorry for the mix up!
.Mitch.
