I'm not a Steam fanboy, but what you wrote is not entirely true. You can open any Steam game that doesn't have it's own DRM through Windows Explorer, like those bought in Humble Bundles. I just started Gemini Rue EXE in Steam folder to make sure and it worked.

I agree about what you said about RT in multiplayer. But I would play this in SP and only in TB.
