I've been into modeling for about 7 years. I learned how to use Maya, Photoshop, and Mudbox through tutorials and hard work. I've also been into mapping for about the same amount of time, mostly using Unreal Ed for games like UT2004 and Raven Shield. I'm currently working on the Dawn of War:Tyranids mod, and the Unreal Tournament 40,000:The Chosen mod. I strive to learn the tricks of the trade and refine them through my volunteer work on mod teams so that I may soon start my career as a professional modeler in the gaming industry.
Hello. I'm a student at the Art institute, and was working on an Eldar Guardian in Maya, however I am getting confused by the Eldar pack. I can't get a good example from the Internet, and my models are older than the current stuff (been about 15 years or so since I played regularly). Anyhow I was wondering if you had any tips for modeling the pack, or if you had any good reference you would be willing to share? I saw what you did with the Guardian in your feed, and he looks awesome. My goal is to try and get as many weapons and vehicles as I can. Next project will be a war walker.
Thank you.
Jim Woods
just curious to see if this is any good to you.
Don't mean to offend, but possibly will.
All I am interested in is adding as many models to Dawn of war that I have in mind from a 20+ year relationship with 40k.
