Well Maginot line is still the thing that brought France down in a way since the budget allocated to the construction of the line was partly taken on the budget that was supposed to modernise the army itself (radios, guns and such). And since we now know that the Maginot Line was utterly useless... a more advanced army would have been much more efficient at this time.

Balance issue like in "there is no weapon to give to the other factions which balance it..." Javelin hits targets from top, no obstacles, have a termal aiming and locking system, cant miss... it would be really overpowered in game, I think you can go on the forum and search for specific threads on the subject if you want precisions, forum is the easiest and fastest way to get information about why this or that isn't in game.

Read your books again, Op Market Garden is an airborne operation above Holland that failed in september 1944. Nothing to do with Atlantic Wall and Op Overlord of june 1944.

But you need to be squad leader, to have 2 crates, to deploy a FOB, and then you can deploy mortars.
Plus, go to PR forums Realitymod.com, register there and try to find your answers as you can find much more help on forums.

watchers mean nothing, most of players dont "watch" the updates from moddb but on PR forums. I think PR have a very large player base, way much larger than most (any?) HL2 mods. I mean, PR have always at least 3 full servers on the worst times, and more than 10 on good hours. The forum have like 40 000 + members...

Come on dude, BC2 have tiny maps, no aircraft and so much things wrong... it's really not what R-Devs are looking for. It would be a 5 years job to mod this game correctly if it was moddable. By the Time PR2 would be released.

It simulate your ineffectiveness, a wounded soldier wouldn't be able to run into enemy lines and keep fighting while bleeding. You guys have to understand that the BF2 engine is really limited. Devs are doing an awesome job here, they made something that everybody thought was impossible with this 5 years old game. And they have to make do, they improvise to find compromises between Gameplay and reality.
If you find out this game is not made for you, then quit and find another game. But it worth the try.

Sorry about the useless post. The kit restriction is here to prevent kids (like you) to take any l33t weapon they want, as 20 snipers in a team is reallistic only on Activision's Wonderland. The bluriness is there to make you hide instead of staying steady while some foes shoot at you. Again only on COD soldiers don't fear bullets. For the bleed well... IIRC bullets kill, and they make people to bleed... except Superman and others but... And once again, you're not in COD, you cant recover life magically from nowhere... If you dont like it, dont play it.

Go back to COD...

I guess some of them have, but many Military Advisors work with the team, if you're saying this because of the deviation, it's the only solution they found to simulate the weapon swaying due to breathing. IMO it's not that bad once you're used to it. Just keep training.

Then dont say that NO MOD team have been able to deliver that, yet or not, it's not the most advanced mod in here and I ll wait untill the release to see if they actually deserve so much credits.
Whatever they release they deserve credits for their work, but don't say that like they are better than other mod team.
Once again I'm looking forward for this mod and I'll give credit where credit is due, but I can't until it's out.

He, with all respect I have for this mod and its developers, I think you're talkin a bit fast... It is not yet released and you seems to forget some other mods who add new factions, Eastern Front, who'll add Ostheer soon, with Soviets that make 2 factions. Modern Combat, which had Chinese and Americans in a modern warfare. Zombie mod, and WW1 mod. All these mods have created complete new factions on their own too.
Anyway I can't wait to play this mod, keep up the good work!

Walking Dead is firstly a comic book serie, wich is 10 times better than the TV show, and in walking dead, army got pwnd at the first times of the infection, so 28 weeks later would be better... But I guess if they do a campaign, it would/should be completely original and only based on the devs imagination, and not a vulgar plagiarism of another story.
