When i had WON, i had the same problem.
Just turn of the crosshair(options)
Or just get the steam version of half life

This mod is COOOOOOLLL....
It's awesome, it doesn't crash with me in steam and i couldn't stop laughing.
It's a messup mod, dammit, not really serious.
WON users: too bad, when i used WON it crashed too at some times.
Steam users: if it crashes, not my problem

extract to the folder:
program files/steam/steamapps/half life
If you are on WON, do it like this:
SIERRA/half life
Those files are in the C: Folder(on standard).
