I currently own Lannisport. When I defend it, I tell my archers to stand at the bottom of a ramp, and to let loose some arrows while infantry and cavalry stand on the ladder.
I only have one problem. The archers of the player's defending side don't fire at all. When I took Lannisport, I had no problems with getting them to fire. But they're standing around, doing nothing.
My infantry and cavalry works fine.
For the record, my archers consist completely of Reach Crossbowmen, veterans and elites.

I love Sir-Heartsalot's work.
I love Clash of Kings.
This combines two of my favourite things in the SOIAF community.
I can now rest with ease.

First!
Amazing work. You rarely see such attention to the small details in a video game. I'm eagerly awaiting the next update for Bannerlord. Keep up the good work!

Just touch it up. It looks a little weird right now, like the blood just leaked into the texture for the ground. Other than that, it does look great. It could be even better.

Pha, the enemies quake in fear of the sound of Scotland the Brave.
Which also annoys every other Scot.
Which increases their battle fury through frustration.

I really like what you're doing with this mod, and especially the models. I hope you continue to work on this, and finish this project.

Honestly, most of the problems with Rome 2 are just typical TW problems. Everyone whose played a TW game before knows those problems will be in future iterations.
Game runs too slow
graphics are bad(but large scale battles mean this is forgivable)
formations don't work correctly
melee battles have soldiers break formation to fight targets 1v1
some historic inaccuracies
campaign and battle AI never gets smarter, just more resources
as a Grand Strategy the game falls short
as an RTS, the game falls short

The reason TW fans keep buying the games is because despite all this, TW is the only game of its kind on the market. It also does this fairly well, truth be told.

Exactly. It makes sense that there is little diversity of soldiers in Westeros. I would personally prefer if most or all the trees were more or less the same, just with visual differences. Like kettle hats for the Stormlands, closed Sallets for the Westerlands, maybe with some minor differences in weapon preference based on region. Like it was in real life.

But all of this does not mean the mod is bad. It has lots of potential, and I hope to see you improve this mod. Even if it's in a direction I disagree with. Please continue your excellent work.

I have some thoughts on this mod that I would like to share.
I originally checked out the mod in its infancy, and it has come quite a long way as of 0.92. It holds up to the standards that I expect of a Mount and Blade mod. Not nearly as good as Floris, but better than most modifications. I am aware that this mod uses Floris as its base.

There are some things that I would personally like to see adjusted. The most important being tourneys, armor and the start of the game. With tournaments being bring your own equipment, they are very hard to start out in. But when you surpass the gear of the average 40-50 armor opponent, it becomes too easy. Of course by then, tournaments are not mandatory.
I have always found tournaments to be a very good way to collect money at the beginning and middle points of the game.

Armor is also extremely powerful, and cutting damage does almost nothing to even the middle range armor until you get into high levels of power strike. And with such a limited selection of hand weapons that deal pierce or blunt damage (Especially one-hand weapons) this problem is compounded further. Of course one can just exclusively use a lance from horseback, but that is boring. One also needs to consider sieges.
In 1257AD, some axes deal piercing damage. Which I feel fits the role of the axe quite well. Since axes were for getting through armor, especially in tight places like when you're fighting knee to knee against a horseman. Something you may wish to consider.

The early game is also difficult. With so few ransom brokers for the amount of cities, it is quite a long time before one could feasibly see one. Trade is also stupidly good - I can go to a village and buy up goods for dirt cheap, and sell them to the closest town for hundreds of gold in profit.
Battles tend to be hard at the beginning as well, with enemies ranging from looters, to outlaws wearing Maille. With no middle ground, seemingly.
