That interactive teaser with catalogue is very interesting. Said catalogue has plenty of high-tech temptations, such as cybernetic augmentations to test and stasis chambers to sleep till the desired future time period to awaken.

The final, unfinished test chamber the protagonist visits can be interpreted as an allegory of various unfinished for a long time and, god forbid, cancelled Source mods for Portal series. Sorry for saying that, that WIP test chamber reminded me of long-abandoned, unfinished Portal mods. Chell's Legend, Cloned Cube, Portal: Awakening, Portal: Combat, Portal: Deep Chambers, Portal: Stories, The Projex and many more come to my mind.

Heard of Portal: Awakening?

I came from unreleased Portal: Awakening. There was a beta build leaked by one of developers of this mod, but Mediafire link is dead. Someone has still one preserved.

I guess this mod isn't dead... at least for now.

This mod is obviously outdated. Any patches (including potentially unseen that were already applied in RTX edition, aside from very support for RTX).

Glorious tech demo for a promising new mod. New appearances of the energy balls are a nice addition too!

Good song. Very dark, experimental and mysterious, nicely fitting the mod's equally distinctive sense of soltitude and discomfort from surrounding hazards every test chamber has.

Water as a plot point... I refused to drink it in my first complete playthrough of this episode, recalling my bad memories involving my wife.
And, Zombie Protection (ZP) and CP-clad rebels (so-called 'traitors') are very interesting addition for this mod. Oh gosh, those traitor cops can be interpreted as rebels disguised as Combine authorities.
