I got it to work with for 64 bit.
1) You have to first navigate to your Crysis folder and make a Mods folder. Then place the second GOC folder from the download in there.
It should look like ...YourDirectoryto...\Crysis\Mods\GOC.
2) In the GOC folder (the one with bin32, binb 64, Code, and Game) make a new text file and paste the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Mod url="" Description="3rd Person Fov Mod" Screenshot="" Version="1.0.0" Name="GOC"/>
3) save the file as info.xml
4) Launch Crysis and it should now appear in your mods location.
Two years and no update?
Darn, I was really hoping for this...
Wow... This really coming along greatly! That music is very well written as well. Keep up the awesome work!
Hmm... my apologies. I am not angry with the devs, but with those who continually ask when the next update. My sincere tone probably made what I said seem like an attack, which is not my intentions. Sorry guys, I'm just a serious sounding writer.
Just a quick suggestion. Please remove the 'News Updates Monthly" text at the bottom of the intro post. This will help the team with less questioning as to when the next update is. It is also an outright lie.
Twenty? Here, as the ambassador of the kidnappers, I will offer a deal. The update will be given to the public first. You then will have twenty people kidnapped... I mean implemented into the Battlecry team. Deal?
Oh... that sad to hear. Well, I thank you for what's been done so far. Keep working on your Marooned game though, it seems promising!
Its disappointing that you abandoned this mod. Can you at least put a confirmation as to whether this mod is still being worked on or dead?
Wow... this is coming along nice. I hope you get this finished! Oh hey, any updates about the original Crysis co-op mod yet? Thanks, and keep up the good work.
Any updates about the original Crysis co-op?
Yes, thank you for clearing that up. Please, nobody expect these to be in the actual game, unless somebody from the team says otherwise.
You guys better pull this off because you brought the hope of Co-op back, Thanks for bringing this back!
Hey, I'm not on the team either, but I've been making a Kamino and Tantive map for these guys and plan on applying when they are done. I'm good at making maps based on architecture, like Kamino dishes or Yavin temples. If you want, I could give you my email and we could make a Yavin map or something. I could use some concept art for it.
Yeah, Cryengine 3 would destroy any average computer if done split screen. Thanks!
I just had a thought. Do you think PC split screen can be implemented? I can't imagine anything that would make this game more enjoyable then sitting with a friend or two playing BF3 on Cryengine 3.
Any link to apply, or do I just email?
I've emailed Schlechtwetterfront a bit and am making a Tantive and Kamino map for you guys if you want it. Mostly what I have is a suite of models, such as landing pads, bridges, base layout of Tantive bridge, etc.
I'd like to help, but it really depends on what issues you guys are having. Also, I'm working on a few maps that might be usable for you guys.
Your F.A.Q. mentions how there are problems with spacecraft battles. Any specifics? I might be able to help you out with the mapping and gravity, or other possible issues.
I got to hand it to you guys, this is looks really promising. Also, you guys tend to be really good at replying to questions quickly unlike most games on the site. Thanks and keep up the work!
Will reload animations be corrected? The other battlfront games had no first-person reload animation, and the third-person showed no clip removal and was generic for all weapons.
Oh okay. I knew you guys mentioned before about the names, but wasn't sure if it still applies. Thanks.
Does this mean that there could still be some, if any, lawsuits with names or characters or level designs with Battlecry?
No problem. Here's the link: Moddb.com
Yeah, I noticed that the description of the Gugan was a joke. Oh well, its better to have no Gungan than an annoying one.
Hmm... That Gungan head looks very promising, nice!
If you could, try to make the Gungan faction or units more elite and specialized (by 'elite' I mean more of a Kleef Gungan from Force Unleashed and less of an Episode I JarJar moron). After all, they are a hidden race that works well in natural environments and such. Maybe make them quicker with better dodging or jumping? I am interested in seeing what you guys will do with the Gungans. This could be a chance to redeem them. Keep up the work!
Ah... Galactic Conquest. I agree with RockSauron, it should be in the game. Perhaps online or at least LAN multiplayer conquest between more than two people could be done?
I'm looking forward to the next update, keep up the good work!
Do you guys still need modelers and such? I'm pretty good with making the models, but not so much with textures.
Read the F.A.Q. Here's the link (its also in the update up top):
Is this a standalone mod? I don't have Homeworld 2 anymore and was wondering how to play this mod...
Hey, I have a couple of questions. I know it is pretty early in development and all, but I was wondering if the game would have some modern game features such as sliding while sprint, melee, or squad-based game modes. Any thoughts? Also, will Heroes be available? Nice work by the way, it looks really great.
