Why is this only supporting Tyranids v0.5b3 when most of the public can't get access to it?
>Force Commander portrait has been changed to Gabriel Angelos
Is this just portrait only? Is the character model still Diomedes?
As far as MIDI synths go, I'd recommend BASSmidi + a soundfont equivalent to the SC-55. It's as close to a direct upgrade of the original Doom soundtrack as you can get.
I think offering the ability to donate money through the Workshop after subscribing would have been a much more receptive option. Why would you pay for a mod with no promises of compatibility and stability?
Paid mods wouldn't really help those wanting to develop their own either. The best mods are usually built with the efforts of more than one person, be through assets or guides that help modders get things done right. Put money into the equation and not as many would be eager to share their assets and advice, and mods may not be as high quality with less people working on them as a result.
I hope the idea of paid game mods doesn't catch on by slippery slope. Imagine if Bethesda allowed this.
Are the current player models placeholders? If so, could they kept in the final release please?
Is this some kind of damage control after people realized how bad the Thief reboot was from a leaking stream?
I hope those iron sights are a placebo.
I initially played Battlefield Heroes, but seeing with what happened after that, I'm not touching another F2P game ever again.
Not that the game was truly P2W (permanent weapons are only really what you needed, but those were dirt cheap), EA just clearly had no intent in improvising the actual game itself and the horrible community was one of the worst I've ever seen.
My body is ready.
To me, pre-1.8 Beta felt like glorified Lego; not for everyone.
I would love to see more modern games use procedurally generated game worlds, as it theoretically allows infinite gameplay, provided it's good enough to stop the player from being bored to begin with.
Minecraft had the right idea but falls short on actual adventure and RPG mechanics, and I hope Cube World doesn't turn into vaporware.
They said vacation? Oh boy.
Which is funny really, they probably wouldn't know how to install mods.
Does this add the laser Rangers that were scrapped from the original game?
With only the host needing to pay, this would be good for those without a sufficient internet connection or hardware to host their own.
But yeah, I would rather have a mod API over this, speaking of which, has taken an awful lot of time in hiatus.
Split Enz would be pleased.
Time for another vacation.
So, what am I meant to be looking at?
Defeating a sandwich only makes it tastier.
I hope the game ends up being something actually enjoyable. Lots of opportunities with a good map maker, but bad gameplay won't compliment it well.
So, what's left to be implemented? This is looking good.
Having experience playing a particularly notorious F2P game in the past, this seems understandable.
Time to play that Doom 2 level full of barrels.
If you're going to have a giant Dxtory watermark, you might as well use Unregistered Hypercam 2 since it's more classier.
Why can't they just bump themselves up to 1.3 or something?
Eight-round mag shotgun? Yes please.
I came, I downloaded, and then I came.
Did Brutal Doom just make the two secret Doom II levels a lot more...harder?
