Enderal

Mod review

Excellent mod.

I really liked the story and dialogues. The characters have a spunk and their own lives. They aren't stupid as hell and the dialogue is actually original. Outright scary compared to the original Skyrim.

The ending and experience throughout hit me in a deep place usually not even the philosophy themed books I read do. Felt quite. Ahh. Good question, what we all hide inside ourselves and defines to by human. I found it easier to see this side inside me after seeing the characters claw and despair.

It goes to show that Video games can be a great way to tell a story. It is not literature. But it doesn't need to be. It is its own media and own way of storytelling.

The cities, world, etc is also fitting for the story and setting. All quite going together. Reading books about how the magic works and such made me giggle. I could have read even more of those volumes haha. I thought the added/changed gameplay elements are nice. Talents are cool. Cites nicely done, so on.

A few nick pickings that annoyed me was the bugs. Random crashing at times. Had to use fly command to not get stuck in elevators. Sometimes I have to wait quite long before the bots go into the right place. So we can start the talking segment. So on. Limitations by the engine I know. Still frustrating though.

Nehrim: At Fate's Edge

Mod review

This is truly a great mod, tough still, it can be a bit confusing.
many small immprovments, menu, enemies, level system, skills, etc, they addded lots of stuff, amazing truly.
here is a few points about it, you should know first

firstly, normally in oblivion if you don't know how to do your mission, you can ask random people around. you can't do this here most often. but of course this is not suprising as it would add alot of work.

second, the game is harder even if you turn down the diffulity, It can be a bit of a challange.
therefore you should quitly adapt your own play style.

thirdly, NO fast tralvel, well you can buy spells and teleport crystals. which is good but costs money, still thisi s good makes more of a realistic game. also you can only teleport to some places.

Funny that this is one of the things i love about this game, it also makes the world in the game feel VERY HUGE which it is.

last, this game is truly amazing if you loved oblivion, you will surely love Nehrim. even tough you may be confused sometimes, or die much.
