SpecterZeo Reloaded II is only needed for my Silent HIll 3 mods. If you got a version of this which uses Reloaded II it's outdated and from the time I was indeed considering REloaded II.

The best way to use this mod is to just do a clean install of the enhanced Edition and then install this from here.

Actually scratch that! if you're using the latest version of Steam006 you can grab now make that 0. I repeat make that 0. IF you still get crashes please get your copy of SH3 from somewhere else. There might be hash mismatches.

Just tested it. Uh please update both packs to the latest versions you can download em here. Please delete any old versions as well and do a clean install.

It's a false positive, The file is 100% save only WAV and ADX files are in it.

UPDATE: The project hasn't been abandoned. I'll be doing an update updating the readme and Reloaded II prereqs in the future. IF there's any bugs or updates you'd like to see in the future sound off below.

Yes you need Reloaded II in order to use this. sadly modding the archives on their own causes issues.

Please note that this mod ports the HD Collection Voices to the PC version. you can use the Audio Enhancement Pack alongside it. in fact that's recommended. Follow the picture included n this archive for proper setup.

To everyone keeping up with the project....With the upcoming Enhanced Edition Team Update i'm in a bit of a dilemma right now. There's two scenes in this project right now that have no recorded audio:

1:The uncensored version of the VHS Tape

2: The dialogue that plays when you leave way to the bowling alley (This file is damaged in the HD Collection)

My current solution is to just use the original voice overs for those two things. Should I do that or just leave the files empty?

Yes! you gotta launch the game through Reloaded II. you can make a shortcut in the GUI to make it easier

Just did a completely clean install of everything and it works. please make sure your game exe is named sh3.exe

Check if the Modconfig.json file didn't get removed by your virus scanner and be sure to add the SIlent Hill 3 application to Reloaded II BEFORE putting the mod into the folder

acadea27 Please check if the modconfig.json file is in the folder. It might have been deleted by your virus scanner.

Cameron0717 Please provide some videos, I didn't touch any of the BGM files actually so those are probably just oversights with the PC version. It would be neat to see tho. I'll fix it in an update if I can.

Golbi Sorry for the confusing wording on that.

Basically the Audio Enhancement Pack and FMV Enhancement Pack are included in this mod, So if someone has slow internet for example you'd only have to download the essential files, imagine Enhancement Pack, Xidi and the Credits video from the Enhanced Edition which is about 400mb. But the full install is 4 gigs.

This mod is also 3.86 so you'd be downloading 7.86 gigs if you chose to go that route.

For my mod you can choose not to install the Audio Enhancement Pack music this will save you about 819MB of space if you're concerned about space. If you're using a HDD to run the game it is however recommended to install the music (I'm assuming people use SSD;s)

as for the sound effects.. to put it politely the HD Collection butchered the sound effects so hard it's memed on to this day. The audio quality is very compressed and pitch is wrong all over the place.
