For whatever reason the mod crashes all the time. I can neither start a campaign, nor a battle. I have made an exception for the executable and deleted maprwm. Game refuses to open no matter what. Any ideas?

EDIT: Ι have used the LAA patch not the 4gb one.
EDIT 2: Works with steam, not disc version.

Good luck on your mod progress. Really hoping to see this one come alive. Take your time in any case, MED II folk are patient people.

Some of these mods look great (there seems to share a lot of similar assets though) but the language barrier will probably put off most people. Also, you should probably spam a bit less with the uploads.

There is one thing that needs to stated imo. Are these older version of mods that are being updated and only sold? Cause if so it needs to be known, even if these are free. Cause I would only assume they are here to garner players towards newer most polished versions that are paid.

Your vision is your own of course. I'm willing to play the mod, the portraits aren't a dealbreaker. The map (in the current released version) was a bit hard on the eyes though.

Mod seems to becoming along great, albeit the map feels a bit too bright and I'm a bit iffy about the anime-ish portraits as they don't suit lotr for me.

When it's released it'd willing to make a translation for the titles since you have them in spanish, since it won't be much work apart from titles and a few names.

Man I've looked at this page so many times waiting for the release. Can't come soon enough.

I started a nice High Elf character and then I encountered two bugs that pretty much destroyed my run and made me lose 4-5 hours.

When I was in Tyrion's service but on leave, I talked to him and I decided to leave his service before returning from leave, then I got a quest to join the HE and get a few mercenaries, but I never got the quest to go to Tyrion as my previous leave was for whatever reason still active as a quest.

Second bug, the pathfinding for Tor Sethai is broken as a HE attacker for me. When I defended against Nippon they attacked fine. So I lost the siege and the EXP.

Also, do the devs have a hard on for Nippon? They absolutely wrecked HE in every occasion. Even when I had more soldiers they absolutely did more damage in every occasion.

So, I was playing against Isengard and they got a sapper who kept destroying my orchards and forges. He was untargetable and pretty much destroyed my scenario. Is this a know bug? A one time thing?

Last time I installed this I got a weird mixup in voices. My bretons would speak as Nords and there was one more thing I can't remember being mixed as well.

If it was from the mod was it fixed?If not was it my installation that did it? I tried it two times.

Hi. Hero options for some factions are greyed out (Rohan for example). I know this isn't a mod bug because it happens in other ones as well.

I do however remember that there was a way to bypass that, which I can't find and my google search hasn't helped.

Does anyone remember how to make it work?

With all these cool updates my patience wears thin to try this mod. Great work and thanks for keeping at it!

That's actually great to hear. My last two campaigns with Heirs of Elendil was the most fun I've had in Med 2 for a while!

Plus I like to have Arwen, Galadriel and Tauriel. More characters is always great.

So if I surmise correctly for the dev diary when this mods releases it will be a submod to v3 but both Gundabad, Lindod-Imladris Angmar and the rest will be based on v2 with whatever changes you decide in general to being in HE right?

I feel this is a good decision. I and seemingly a lot others felt that some of the changes were off in v3. I'm still playing 2.2 with HE 1.3 and believe it to be the best Third Age experience.

With a little patience this is gonna be even better!

This is an excellent mod. It gathers pretty much all of the interesting GOT timelines in one. It does need a bit polishing.

I'm gonna wait for a bugfixed version.

Only one I found from playing a bit is that in Robert's rebellion he has Renly's portrait and his units are also called renly swordsman etc. It breaks the immersion a bit.

I understand a fix is in the works.

For whatever reason I am not able to make this work even on Vanilla. Is it Steam only perhaps?

Things I did. Put the third view folder in the mods directory. Started launch.bat. started custom battle, selected the unit, pressed delete and then tried to use the keys. Didn't work.

I also, closed the bat ingame and launched the exe as per the instructions. Nothing. Now a lot of people actually made it work so I'm guessing the problem is mine. Did I go about it in a wrong way?

EDIT: Also, the mod actually starts with the minimal ui when I launch the bat file, which means it loads fine at least since minimal is default in the preferences file

Will it work with 1.158?The 1.02 version had a blank menu for me.I hope this one doesn't

The submod is great and offers a lot to the improvement of the original mod.But turns are taking an awful lot to change which annoys me a bit and ruins my experience :/.I also found a small bug.When I browse the building browser with Thranduil's faction and check the stable my game crashes.Although the second time it continued just fine without a crash I think I'd better report it.

Is the map included in the full release or do I need to download it separately?

Did everything,happened again.Maybe it's my Warband's problem I don't know why else.It seems to me that you'd be aware of such a bug.Anyway thanks for the help I'll just avoid the sceletons since even more I checked worked just fine even on very high setting.Thanks ;)

Hello.I wish to report a bug(if it really is one).Whenever my enemy is invasion of skeletons I'm being thrown out of the game.I use the high-end version but I am quite positive this is not the version's problem or my PC's.I have a high-end laptop and this is the only invasion it happens until now(also tried farmers,zombies,socialists,mongols).In addition,is there a way to play this mod with bots in my team?Sometimes I just want to try factions to see what suits me most or fool around with some large scale battles but my teemates are all called Player and have the same armour and weapon.Thanks in advance and good luck with your project :)

Hello xPearse I am a fellow HOTD fan :p.I really enjoy this mod and even more the multiplayer but there is one thing that dislike.Could you actually make the map look more like a city?Do you plan to?There is this mod call Gangs of Glascow or something which had a map that looked like a city.Even if you don't do I will still support this mod :).And sorry for double posting as a guest.
