Recently installed WoG mod on a HoMM 3 Complete(GOG version) together with the HoMM3 HD mod, all on Windows7. Tried a few skirmish matches and everything runs well. Thanks for effort put into making it.

Finally! After so many years I get to replay my favorite childhood shooters: Doom (with Brutal Doom), Duke Nukem 3D (Megaton Edition) and now Blood (Crossmatching of course). Thanks for putting the time and effort into making it.
P.S. For those of you that get stuck or find it to difficult, you can use the cheats from duke nukem 3d (dnkroz=god mode; dnkeys=get all keys; dnclip=no clip mode). Once activated just type it in a 2nd time to deactivate.

Do as Zeidra said and also avoid playing against the Chaos Daemons and Tyranids in your first matches as those races A.I kinda cheats. The Tyranids A.I is especially notorious for being able to single-handedly defeat 2 maybe 3 A.I opponents.

Other a.k.a all of them! When it comes to mods I'm mostly interested in enhancing my SINGLE player experience so it's a tie between adding new content (maps/missions or entire campaigns)and giving my favorite nostalgic games a facelift (graphically and cosmetically). That being said I also like it when annoying aspects of gameplay are fixed or removed completely so I can focus on the good stuff. The ones I dislike the most are the nudity mods (guys, it's easier to just watch porn/hentai of these games :D )

Hi. Will the final release fix the targeting so units can no longer shoot through walls, cliffs and such? I looked over the changelog and saw no mention of it, but being a pro mod could benefit from this a lot. Either way godspeed and thanks for keeping good old dow alive.

"Indeed" there is banter between the commanders but it's even weaker acted than in DC (sppfacze maiirinz, meeitall boxzzez)

Maybe difficult wasn't the right word. It's more like annoying. A.I never uses spells/abilities instead just sends bigger and bigger waves of enemies until I am overwhelmed. It does feel epic when I see a 1000-3000 kill scoreboard at the end but it's quantity over quality.
I'm not criticizing you as this was vanilla DC & SS doing, it's just a suggestion on how you could spice it up.

I belive i lost a crit at some point but then captured all 3 again. The countdown timer just kept reseting afterwards(it was at the missions end so no big deal).
In the meantime I did try the IG and steel legion strongholds and there was a big difference. The IG which has mission difficulty enabled is way harder. On easy with massive battles and quick starting resources enabled my smurfs still got owned. Guess I'm just noobish but maybe you should add an option to enable/disable this new relentless A.I. Still I had fun fighting steel legion and liked how you (re)placed them on the map.

Tested this mod a while back and since it's become my favorite skirmish/multiplayer DOW mod.
What I liked about it:
-battles are smaller scaled and thus every squad/tank lost hurts you
-A.I is pretty good (knowing to reinforce, attach commanders to squads, use spells and abilities)
-pathfinding is good (finally a dow mod where I can use troops and vehicles without them blocking each other constantly)
-manuals look very nice with pics and details
What I didn't like:
-the way necron teleporting works here (frustrating when you're in an intense fight and need to go back and forth with clicking to teleport)
-the fire support resource from IG (wish there was an option to turn it off)
-A.I plays better with strong races and from early game can dominate squishy races(IG, eldar, SoB, tau)
Of course I appreciate the effort put into making this mod and hope to see the final update soon.

Finally got this mod working. Had to do a re-install to get rid of the "failed to activate" message, thankfully the instructions were spot on and got it working without a hassle afterwards. So far I tried as space marines against chaos, necron, eldar strongholds on easy(dark crusade). I encounterd a bug at the end of the eldar stronghold where after capturing the 3 crit locations the timer to hold them would reset itself after 1-2 minutes. Anyway kudos for making this mod as the stronghold missions were my favorite parts in DC and SS.
