Funny, I've been preaching something like that for years but only now somebody really wants to make a mod like it.
Will there be 3 distinct factions as in PlanetSide as well?

I always thought PW had way too much factions for there to be big and fun battles.

Well it did for me. PW is unbearably boring if there is no war going on.. in PF you can at least go kill some outlaws in the meantime.

Well it's working pretty great, actually the best working melee system in all of gaming. You can make it more complex but you may also fail in doing so.
Imo they should keep it the way it is but add better animations to make it look more realistic.
