This is lovely, I'm really enjoying this. Thank you so much for your work on this!

bless you for this lmao
Yeah, I feel the same way. I've been trying out some of the currently popular mods (anomaly, etc) and...eh, I dunno. They're great and have a lot of good work put into them, but they often stray a bit too far away from the STALKER feeling for me.
Yeah, I just did. Nothing else differs other than the weather sections.
Also, thanks for continuing to support LADC! I've been meaning to replay it since the original release way back when, and this is giving me the push to do it. I tried LADCE out a bit and...honestly, wasn't too impressed.
Ah, I think I figured it out. CGIM adds new weather manager periods to the lost_alpha_cfg.ltx. Obliterating yours in gamedata or unpacking cgim to gamedata fixes it.
Huh, that's bizarre. It doesn't work at all for me. I just get a script crash from level_weathers.
Just Lost Alpha DC 1.4007 without any of the pack-in mods, this compilation, CGIM weathers and graphics fixes 1.58 (which CGIM requires)
It's odd because this compilation shouldn't touch anything that'd break level_weathers.
Really odd how this somehow isn't compatible with CGIM weathers. I wonder what that's doing that breaks it.
Glad to see an update from you guys, at least. I've recommended many a prospective STALKER MotZ as a way to get into the series - thanks for making a nice little package.

Seems you forgot the groza_shoot_sil sound in the files!
Thanks for continuing to support this wonderful mod!
Damn, this was pretty incredible. Sad to read it's on an indefinite hiatus, but I greatly enjoyed what I played.
Fair enough! Just thought I'd put the idea out there just in case it might be useful.
Hmm. Have you looked at the good 'ol RMA/Old Storyline Restoration mod as a possible base for the 'extended' version? It might be a good place to start! It restores some content cut very late in SoC's development (like Darkscape, some scenes in the Bar, and the Dead City!) and fleshes out some story beats. Probably wouldn't be too hard to rebase things, the worst part will probably be bringing over ZRP's spawn changes.
> - Cut the transport and redone the quest that was associated with it
Huh. They removed vehicles entirely? Interesting choice.
If you like, I could probably do it for you! I have the OGSR sources downloaded.
Yeah, it's a little odd. They should probably just rename the -steam parameter to -global or -ww since it really just refers to letting the game load the WW .db files, for some reason they use a different encryption or something along those lines than the Russian .db files.
You could probably just recompile the engine with the -steam thing forced on, too.
Out of curiosity, where'd you get the snd_env files for the EAX effects? Did you put them together yourself in the editor or just sourced them from other places?
that's gonna be a yikes from me dawg
(this is actually p great)
IIRC there's a crashing bug related to shaders in newer Darkplaces builds right now.
It's a mod, so, yes. Go grab it from GOG.
And apparently operates by running a Minecraft server, lol.
I can confirm it works with darkplaces for Linux.
Yeah, this seems to happen sometimes - not sure what's up with it. Seems the devs didn't test with AMD hardware much.
You lose the new screenspace water reflections, sadly. Oh well.
Are you also on AMD by any chance?
I've gotten this a few times too, but it's mostly stopped after setting backbuffers to 3. *shrug*
I've personally always liked the idea of just having a 'random bag 'o metal junk' that you'd be using to detect anomalies. Old bolts, nuts, screws, rail spikes (might be a bit large), random shell casings, etc.
Probably not too practical, but it's a fun idea.

Just a STALKER fan. And a furry. Yep, very exciting bio.
