Pusher: The Story Of Logan

Mod review

I've completed this mod in ~35 minutes.

I don't like the mod for various reasons, my biggest issues with the mod:
- By default, the game sound doesn't work. (need re-building audio-cache)
- All levels are fast compiles (thus lighting looks bad)
- Most levels are just PTI levels.
- Assets from Portal Stories are used without requesting permission first.
- Some levels from Designed for Danger are partially re-used.
- The voicelines are constantly repeating every level.
- The puzzles are way too easy for my taste.

Portal 2 | Memories

Mod review

This mod contains a bunch of rather simple maps. I don't really see the advantage of a mod here, as far as I can see it could have just as well been all in one map.

They explore some interesting concepts but never really impress with it. The story telling is left to some on screen texts. The graphics are a mixture of cartoony and realistic. Either one would be fine but the combination is something I dislike.

In the levels there's a strong sense of repeating the same thing over and over again. Once you figured out what to do with one device you basically can do it with basic portal logic.

In map two there's a more urban enviroment. Players are trained in portal that white = portalable; not white = not portalable. Here there are all kinds of materials that can be portalled onto. This is a bit strange.

All in all it's a nice concept but I don't think the maps are of high quality, nor do I think this should've been a mod. A collections of maps on the steam workshop would have probably been a better idea.

I hope the next parts of the mod have a bit more variety in them and challenge the player a bit more. For now a 5/10

Mod review

The mod contains a lot of the elements that weren't in portal 2, for a reason. Some maps made no sense at all.
The difficulty is also to low, since this is a portal 2 mod you can assume that anyone who plays this has finished portal 2. Anyone who has completed portal 2 shouldn't have a problem with this mod.

The graphics were also no where near the quality of the original game.

The greatest difficulty I found in this mod was the fact that a lot of test objects were hidden in very weird places, where you couldn't see them. Also the unexpected deaths that happened in the game a few times was something I wasn't happy about.

All in all it's only a 2/10 from me.
