is there a known date for npcs? or at least something the team is aiming for?

i'm kind of waiting to play for that day....

if you'd checked their webpage you'd have seen that they've been having trouble with the steam keys for existing customers and to bear with them a couple days.

i want NPCs more than anything... i want to be able to form a stronghold with a small group of npcs and give them commands to go scavenge or hole up or make even a kind of underground survivor railroad

well that was a waste of time.

good idea in theory... but... lacking in oh so many ways.

as for this ridiculous argument about "Who's fault it is" i'd say its as much everyone involved's fault.

the dev made an empty promise because he didn't expect (?) to sell so many copies in alpha.
everyone insulting the dev for not giving them a steam key for his product (cause that somehow helps)
etc

getting pissy in the comment section isn't helping you get your steam keys lol
(just like my not being a **** isn't helping me get mine)
to be honest, i'm just happy that i will be getting one.

everyone needs to calm down, people who bought the game on steam included.
obviously they're on the dev's side because they were provided with keys immediately.

i played what desura had of this a month or so ago.
god damn i can't wait to shift this one to my steam library. its gonna be grand.
in the meantime, i'll get back to playing gnomoria

i own and play like 15-20 alpha's and all i see is the good to come :)

i have been trying my desura key on steam evey day since it was posted that it should work in "48 hours"

but no dice yet

so.... when are these keys going to work?

this game is crazy fun.. i do find myself continuously going back for more...

a friendly suggestion though, (if you haven't already) i would really love it if you finished all the traits in the opening screen. i hate feeling like i might select one that is of no use to me.

also, i was thinking about how if i pick the mechanic trait, i can't fix the lights, but i can fix the hvac. and vice versa if i pick electrician. i feel like we should be able to fix them, it will just be a lot harder.

i really would love to be able to go out and scavenge and come back to a base to rest and hide away from the outside world. i have yet to fight a dogman and win... but i have killed several raiders (with only a knife, a crowbar or a wrench) havent even seen a gun yet. my problem usually ends up being supplies though. food and water. water i just recently learned how to get lots of, so thats okay... food is a bit worse.. and also, i have no idea how to treat injuries.

i'm sure this all coming, i'm just throwing it out there.

great game dude, its real fun and rather addicting.
the only thing that bothers me is the lack of recipes and the unfinished traits.

where do i find my kenshi key?

oh dear captain, I sent you an email yesterday about a steam key.

I am just SO eager to begin playing (even in its unfinished state this game looks ******* stellar)

to be honest, a huge (sick and twisted) part of me is looking forward to becoming the biggest and baddest slaving faction in the desert.

all will fall before my might, and if their bones are not bleaching in the high desert sun, then they are marching to my base with iron chains and shackles secured firmly to their beaten hides.

so, how do you scavenge? because i click scavenge, it brings me to the scree nwhere i select where to scavenge and then after that it just goes black except for a picture of the building i wanted to scavenge and then when i continue, i have not scavenged....

the game would be fun if i could get more items then what i find on the ground, or in the cryostasis room.. oh, i also had a plastic bag and some berries once....
