I don't get why people want to speed up the classes. I like the slow paced action of the game, it makes it more tactical rather than run in and gun everything.

As my argument goes, that is the sole reason why I hate the Recon class. I don't know if it's an exploit since Recons can only do a few "huge leaps" before running out of stamina .. but when the Recons continue to bunnyhop after running out of stamina, they're way too fast compared to the other classes. This causes them to basically be able to run into the enemy's spawn and start harassing them in some maps like the one on the street, and the temple in the snow. Because of this, there are several instances where everybody switched to Recon and Assault (for the motion sensing vision) and left the Support class underused.

Other than that, the mod is amazingly made. I have not seen such tactical teamwork in a game for so long and this experience is refreshing. Thank you for the mod and your dedication to satisfy the community.

kohzan @ L4D2 Boycott (NO-L4D2)

The way L4D2 is presented is fishy. "Oh noes, we sat down after releasing L4D and had a lot more ideas and decided we should get money for them. Also, it might be too much content for people to download through L4D1"

What a stupid, retarded excuse for more money. Shouldn't the developers have thought about the extra contents for L4D1 before releasing the first game? If the developers had actually sat down and read the Steam forums, then they could've included mini-updates and maps for the community.

5 maps for a campaign is what? 50 mb? New weapons, new special infecteds, new skins for infected with codes is what? 10 mb each? If Valve wanted to, they can deliver 1 GB of content to fill in for L4D2. "Too big of a file to work with" is just an excuse because people are downloading L4D off steam for 4GB. For 1 gb, the developers can make 5 campaigns and still have 800 mb to work with.

And all those ideas they implemented in L4D2 should've been in L4D1 or they're just plain retarded.

Things such as melee fatigue, or gauntlet should've been in L4D1. Fire ammo is just a stupid excuse for "more content" in L4D2 as they are just overpowered. And Melee weapons all work the same (1 hit ko) but getting friendly fire on people running towards a mob is just stupid. Why are they implementing melee weapons for if a shotty works the same? Has anyone actually ran out of ammo if they're not spamming like crazy? I mean there's the unlimited ammo-pistols to fall back to right?

Looks sturdy. It looks pretty great, I just never liked the brown color on the grip. It looks better with white ... but I guess only aristocrats or higher ups get that kind.

Oooh pretty~ A few more shrubs at the base of the mountain may provide a good sniper spot. It seems a bit too open for people to walk through without getting taken down.

Pretty cool. Although I have to say Survivors have it a little more tougher than the Suiciders. I dunno why though, but I love the limitation of ammo, stopping Survivors from camping. I think it has to do with the slow speed of the books and the arc of the books ... it seems unfair really to have a bush survive if the Survivor finds them, and this creates a lot of "jumping bushes" rushing at you.

I also like how you can see the bush "rotate" giving their positions away. This will create a little more tactic and patience when playing Suiciders.

Pretty awesome. I can't wait until I can shoot Santa for not bringing anymore gifts to me. My birthday's on 23rd as well, so this will totally be crazy

Meh, I like Multiplayer more than Singleplayer. But I do appreciate SP modes as more of an addon.

Single player can be more scary, and the feeling of being alone. But I adore multiplayer more because you can have a different experience each time you play. I guess I'm more of a team player, but still, the SP is gonna be awesome.

Yay, Hidden Source is in the Top 3. To be quite honest, I don't think Zombie Panic: Source is that scary. There isn't much suspense, I mean ... you die and you become a zombie with respawns. It really kills the atmosphere of a serious tone when you know there isn't any consequences for dying. I think it is fun, but it isn't the scariest.

Scary is suppose make your stomach churn, your hands sweat, while keeping you glued to your seat even when your bladder is exploding. ZPS is more of a party game, where everybody chills and have fun. Just stop mixing this "fun" with scary ...

I played this once with 9 other people in a 64 player server. It was really fun and hectic, and I keep imagining what this mod might be with 54 more people in the server. That was a long time ago, and everyday I go on Steam ... I try to check if there's anyone on Inscect Infestation, but sadly ... that was my first and last day on it.

Please don't let this mod die out, it has a lot of untapped potential and with enough public relations (especially through MODDB) it might have a larger community.

Don't give up and let this mod die. We've got a bunch of people still eagerly waiting and we will continue supporting this mod. I'll try contacting my friends to see if they would like to apply for coders, but school's starting and it's gonna be quite busy.
