another thing you can do is Reset Xform on 3DS max. this way the coordinates it gives is the coordinates of the game. and if it is on the generic units. 1 generic unit = 1 Meter on the game.

there isn't really a tool to determine the XYZ Vector position. i use a template on 3DS max (sent to me by negral01)to make the plane. i'll put it here if it is okay. keep in mind that the template is kinda big, so you'll need to do the plane half the size of it and attach to make it as a fighter jet.
in regard to the model size when i export, how much more or less it needs to be so it is not too big or too small?! (i usually do 3 squares in the grid of maximun size in all directions... but i'm afraid if it turns out too big or too small). so,anyone here knows?!

i would like to make an export text (Just a test, of course it would not be the final craft... as it has no animations yet) but i kinda dunno how to export it -_-
