Question: Would it be possible to give GDI and Nod their EVAs from Tiberian Sun back?
Also I'm not sure that giving Nod the Obelisk of Darkness was a good idea. This makes their defense impenetrable unless you have an improbably huge army.

Quick question: do you have need of an audio engineer?
*notices need for Voice Artist*
I'll just let you PM me.
Interesting. Can't wait to see how it's all set up!
I'm going to follow this even though I don't consider myself a true Halo fan (The hardware is interesting, but to me the story was always meh until 343 took over). I always thought it would be cool to see how Halo translates into an RTS setting, though I do have two questions:
1. How's the economy being set up?
2. Are you bringing in units from Halo Wars or are you sticking to what is in the FPS games?
Little bit of a stupid question, but is the Tacitus Archive ingame yet? If so, which maps feature it? I'm interested to see how the Kodiak and Montauk play!
Although it may not happen, it would be awesome if this was merged with "The Forgotten." After that, all we would need to do is add CABAL (complete with campaign) and Westwood's true vision of a third C&C will finally see the light of day.
Hello. I just downloaded and played the recent public beta, and... holy mother of mercy. This just became one of my favorite mods for C&C 3. I did notice that you don't have a lot of sounds in place, and I would like to offer my voice talents for the USSR.
Here is a sample I made for RotR (they didn't have any openings when I talked to them): Youtube.com
And my acting channel: Youtube.com
I hope you get back to me soon on this, as I would very much love to voice the Soviets. Although I can lend my voice wherever in the game, as Russia has always been my favorite faction in most RTSs, it would be an honor.

"The machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire. Their war to exterminate mankind had raged for decades, but the final battle would not be fought in the future. It would be fought here, in our present.
Tonight..."
This is no doubt going to drive the cool factor of the USA's arsenal through the roof.
Correction: We're not allowed to edit their content and release it as our own. If we modify something for personal use, they likely won't care.
@Parent Post: I agree a bit with #2, since the deployment zone is basically a production structure with different mechanics. I'm tempted to agree with #9, but then again you only need one Solar Plant, and if you are willing to spend the money it can defend itself from attacks.
Not sure how I feel about the human arms sticking out, but otherwise great job!
Hey, I've got a question.. Are you planning on having any voice actors ingame? If so, do you have any positions open?
While TheVolgun would probably be a better choice for 682 himself, I would very much like to voice the player character (For taunting 682, ambient "damage" sounds, etc) or any ambient characters (if there are any).
I am willing to take requests if you want a sample. Please contact me soon, thanks!
Incorrect. Personally, I don't believe in global warming, but in any case water vapor is not a greenhouse gas.
However, since humanity has not yet achieved nuclear fusion on any level, we cannot really say what the outcome could be.
Well, how about voicing the factions in english, with a Russian/Arabic/what's needed accent?
As previously stated, I'll offer my voice for the Russian Federation as well. In addition to wherever needs voice, actually.
Well, I meant to say that my Allies build in my base. I'm a big turtler, and I use mostly hit-and-run tactics mixed with air strikes until I have a Manticore and a sizable force of 18-20 Leopards with some AA Support. The trouble is that my Allies clog my base with their buildings and make having allies almost a hindrance.
So my favorite way to play on this mod is 4v4 ECA vs Russia, all brutal AI. It is a lot of fun, and the different sides feel so fresh and fleshed out, especially the ECA.
However, I did notice that the Brutal ECA AI likes to build a ton of defenses and some structures inside my base. This has made some skirmish matches very difficult in a frustrating way because the AI clogs the path from my production structures to the front lines, and my excavators get trapped inside more often than not. Any tips?
This was very hastily done with my default laptop microphone, hence the terrible quality and half-assed lines. I do have a very nice Logitech microphone that I bought specifically for voice acting, and I have done better given lines and rehearsal. Also, I can do a ton of other accents. Irish, British, German, Chinese, etc... so I'm flexible with what is required.
I eagerly await a response on my possible acting position.
Sorry it's taken me so long to do this, but I REALLY want to contribute my voice. Here's a sample of me doing a few (somewhat bad) voices for some units, as well as an alternate Russian EVA: Youtube.com
And me doing impressions of other C&C characters, for extra reference: Youtube.com
I cannot count the amount of times the "Hold Ground" stance saved my bacon in AoE II, and how many times a lack thereof has came back to bite me in other games.
It wouldn't be that hard to implement, I think, and every faction would benefit without breaking the game.
After playing this mod for a while, I now understand the direction this mod is going, and ask forgiveness for my earlier outbursts.
However, I still feel that the US is slightly lacking in defense and secondary income. The missile silo is inferior to it's equivalents in the other factions, and the firebase is near useless unless it is garrisoned. In addition, while the other countries have a constant secondary income (Black Market, Telecom, Arms Supply, Hacker), while the US has to wait 2 minutes for a monetary boost unless you time the building of supply drops just right, which is very difficult. The US could see some improvement in these two areas (maybe tied to the focus on drones), but I'll leave it entirely up to the devs.
If this were an FPS class all of the n00bs would get one and camp for the entire game, surrounded by sentries and sniping with their little suicide gliders.
But this is an RTS. The diabolical and strategic implications are buzzing around my head like a hive of angry hornets. The limitless possibilities that the Vanguard represents... I'm as stoked as the next person.
Don't worry; as an internal tester, I promise that progress is being made. There won't be a "vehicle Beta" released to the public; instead, when it comes, you'll get the whole game. Single player probably won't be included, but there is SO much stuff not seen here that's planned. Even I don't know what is planned for the future.
Here's the problem: We're fixing stuff that is broken. Currently, there is too much importance on tank combat and repairing, and infantry have a hard time staying alive.
However, AI Technicians wouldn't be all that cool unless they could shoot back. But with **** poor accuracy and minimal damage, more of a nuisance than a defense, but certainly something to delay the attackers. Also, I'm not sure AI Techies should disarm C4.
I love this thing. I love the size, the power, and the SWEET spammability. One of my tactics is to build 3 War Factories and fill the queues of all of them with these. Instead of 18 Main Battle Tanks, I get 32+ Light Tanks that just wipe the floor with my enemies.
Visually, while I like the art style, I think that it's a little disproportionate. But only because the barrel and turret lamp are a little too big.
Didn't exactly get a response from this before: Are there any voice acting positions open? While I'd like to voice a Russian unit, I can certainly fill any required role for any of the factions.
And please let me know what sides are getting a campaign. I would be ready and more than willing to make live-acted cutscenes.
I kind of hope that one of the Russian generals gets a two-barrel MBT. Then again, I'm not a very reliable suggestion box.
I sort of agree. The firebase and battle bunker are only useful when garrisoned, and the missile defense and gattling gun are laughably terrible. Honestly, the other 3 sides have amazingly well-developed and great defenses, and I would like to see if China and the US get another, mind-blowing defense.
