Extract each folder from the archive into a single mod folder inside a gamedata directory.
So if I call my mod folder 'simplegui':
simplegui

--gamedata
|
---configs
---scripts
---sounds
---textures
---readme.txt
Create an archive out of 'simplegui' (made mine into 'simplegui.zip' with 7zip) and use the manual add button.
Uhh you might wanna check out BloodThirst it's exactly like Vampire Slayer and it is not dead and it looks awesome.

This is the scariest HL1 mod I have ever played.
Sorry for the spamming posts XD. But one last thing! When you sprint your weapon should be put down a little like in Red Orchestra etc. And you should only be able to carry a primray gun (rifle,smg,etc.) a secondary gun (pistol) and a grenade.
Oh and one last thing. You should take more damage easier. In the videos I saw people shooting you and you took almost no damage.
Oh ah forgot this too. When using ironsights slow down the movement. Add crouching and prone. Think realistic man.
Oh also add mags not just reload whenever you want to. Make it so that once you reload you use up a mag AKA Clip.
I'd download,heck I would even map for the mod. But one problem,from those videos I saw no recoil. I really like realistic games. I think you should add big recoil requiring ironsights than make a multiplayer if it doesn't already have it. Taking away health bar and ammo bar would be good too.

4th of all by driveby shootings do you mean like 2 people can get in a car. The passanger buys a gun and can shoot out the window at other cars and such?
5th of all will you be able to get out/in cars and be able to walk around get jobs whatever?

Ya you know this is kinda like a mix of Condemned : Criminal Origin and The Suffering : Ties That Bind (BTW those are pretty cool games.) Yet still i hope you get through with this.
