First of all, I would like to congratulate you guys for the huge effort you are putting into developing this awesome mod based on Medieval Europe. I have two questions a major one and a minor one.

Major Question: When are you planning to release a playable campaign? You don't have to be precise. Like end of 2018 or begining of 2019 or at the end of 2019.

Minor Question: Are you planning to include the Despotate of the Morea including the Byzantine Castle-Town of Mystras?

Attention BK-Team!
I have been playing the BK-Mod for a very long time. My army of choice is the British where I always use the RAF doctrine. Let me assure you I know my paratroopers well.

So, I'm going to cut the long story short. Even though the doctrine lucks some substantial firepower in the form of artillery and tanks I was always able to manage. Entrenchment tactics are vital for my paratroopers and one of the most important weapons to achieve this has been removed.

I'm talking about the 17pdr emplacement. Whose great idea was this to leave the British Paratroopers naked?

Please bring it back as soon as possible with a short patch.

I would like to congratulate you for a job well done! This mod is absolutely awesome! I have been following your progress silently all along. The reason why I have never commented upon anything was due to the fact that there was nothing to comment about. Your work is excellent the whole work that has been put on this mod has left me speechless. As a fan of World War 2 games, I have to say that I have no words to describe how grateful I am to you for giving us such a mod.
Your efforts along with the Blitzkrieg Team have given us the real Company of Heroes 2. Normandy 44 and Africa additions to the Blitzkrieg Mod has taken the game to a different dimension and now you are taking it even further to a whole different level trying to cover the Pacific Theater of WW2.

What can I say,.....I have no words. Just keep up the good work. You have our support and gratitude.

I'm sure that every logical person understands how long it takes to complete a total conversion mod. Especially if there is only one person trying to do it. We also know that life and work comes first. Saying this I must say that you have missed the point. The point is that the era of Modern Warfare Games is coming to an end. This is because what is old is new again. The Battlefield and Call of Duty games are considering a return to World War 2. The point is that this long awaited MOD (Back2Fronts) has missed the GOLDEN opportunity. All those World War 2 fans that have come under the shadow of Modern Warfare games for so long would have loved it. Now, it's only going to be played by a handful of nostalgic gamers who might want to experience the old Call of Duty 2 in a different dimention.

Are you for real? My God! This is ridiculously funny. So many years of waiting and it has come to this. Not even a single playable version of this GHOST MOD. You see, you even lost the opportunity for people to try it. Guess what. I have news for you. From what it seems both the Call of Duty and the Battlefield Series are making a return to World War 2. It's a shame really. It could have been enjoyed by many World War 2 Lovers who came under the shadow of Modern Warfare games for the last few years. But you my friend chose to keep everything to your self. NOW...I SAY TO YOU PLAY IT YOUR SELF BECAUSE NONE OF US WILL.

This Back2Fronts Mod has gone beyond the ridiculous mark.
I haven't posted enything for a long time because I have moved on. This is not to say that I don't like the mod or that I don't respect the work that has been done so far. I respect all that and more. People have a life too. Developing a mod is not the only thing. All that I know and I respect.
However after 5 years that I have been following this mod I got nothing but Visuals and skins. You are telling me there is more to life,..I'm with you on that but after five years,....FIVE YEARS. Give something playable to those hundrens of people who have been waiting,..voting and supporting your mod.

I rest my case. Good luck with the rest of the development. And as for the rest of you who waste your time posting,...keep on waiting.

Me and my fiends have moved on to other FPS games.

It will be finished when it's finished. There is no point in pressuring. I know how much we all want a playable version and how long we all have been waiting, but at the end of the day the only thing that we can do is wait.

I totally agree with you mate. What's more is that the game cannot be found anymore. If you do you are looking at a ridiculous price. Amazon has it for 200 dollars. The game has become a rare piece of antiquity and the Edain team still can't come up with a release. I suggest the wait a bit longer until there isn't a PC on the market old enough to be able to run the game. Then you would have to start looking for an Ancient PC too.

You know where our frustration comes from? The fact that the Call of Duty series has become crap. With all this fake modern warfare. There isn't going to be a return to World War 2 for a long time. I hopes rest with you guys. Sorry for being a pain.

There is no point in continuing this or analyzing it any further. I will apologize to Mch for my insulting comments. But I want you to know that my disapointment still stands. At least on behalf of my friends who have been waiting for some sort of release I must say that some sort of a playable version at some point would be nice. But again it's your work and you can do with it what you want.
As for you,...I think you are smart enough to know that things got out of hand and an apology on your behalf would also be nice too.

You know why I decided to return to Greece? Because I never wanted my future kids to be assimilated into something that hasn't got a sense of national identity. I'm proud of my Greek heritage. You are insulting us for what we have become, a small weak country of corrupt politicians. But that is what some want us to be. It benefits them. Firstly, I grew up in Australia under an English system and education. I relocated to Greece just five years ago. I'm running my own private English school here in Greece. I'm might be Greek in blood but my ideas and way of thinking are Anglo-Saxon.
As far as I know it is part of the English mentality to meet deadlines and expectations and avoid disappointing efforts.
Give something in return for all those who have been supporting this mod for the last three or more years. That's all we ask. We have been showing understanding and appreciation without applying pressure and we have never asked for a finished product. However, since you can't handle criticism you choose to find refuge in insulting racist comments and fake release dates as you did last Christmas.
Shame on you.

This whole thing has dragged on and on beyond the ridiculous mark. Mch whatever your real name is dude since you wanted followers praising your work for almost four years you have to now learn to accept criticism too.

I agree with you mate. We all can't wait for this to be released. I remember last year around Christmas time we were all waiting for it to be released and nothing. Lets hope that this Christmas we all get our long awaited present.

I'm not using a Mac,...I have a good PC.
Anyway,...we need to get this mod up to our server. Please help. If anyone has done it already because we have tried and we still can't get it to work.

I tried it, but as soon as I setup the server shortcut, the server does not start. It is always offline.
Something is wrong.
Has anyone tried this ?

Ok, I will try this, but do we require all files on the server and the client machines?

Issue: When starting up a server by myself, I select a map to play and when it loads It sometimes loads with bots and sometimes without them. When the map loads up with bots I then play the entire game without a problem. When the game finishes it automatically tries to load up a new map,..just then it freezes and the game is not responding. I have to do a Ctrl, Alt, Del to exit from it.

Is it possible to release a mini mod that just has the choice of factions? You see we want to change the look of the OpFor forces. We don't want to play as arab forces. Perharps the Russian Loyalists instead.... to replace the arabs? Can you please help us?

I need to know what the server command line needs to be, and the local shortcut. As well as which files of the mode go where.

the server is Private. And it is down at the moment. I need to figure out how to set this mod up.

Yes I figured that out regarding the "cod.cw".
I have uploaded the entire mod to the server, and fixed the launcher on the server.
Now on each client, do I need the entire mod folder as well? And a the launcher edited?
Or do I just place the .iwd files on the clients?

this launch perimiter "+set fs_game mods/cod.cw +exec codcw.cfg" we add on the client shortcut?
Do we do the same on the server?

So I upload all the files inside the mods/ fodler on the server, under it's own folder eg. CodCW/ including the .txt files.

Then do I copy all the files to a client computer?

I would like to know which files get uploaded via ftp to the server, and which files are placed on each client machine main/ folder.
