Yes, not anytime soon though.

Weapon resets at the start of each chapter and you had to play with weapons given at the start of the chapter. Been always like that even in vanilla.

Something on your side. Do a clean reinstall and dont try to load vanilla or previous mod version saves.
Manual saves are not available in a few bonus modes for the vanilla campaign. You probably selected one of them.

It is not possible. RealRTCW uses iortcw as a basis. You can call RealRTCW a very expanded version of iortcw. To make it compatible with og iortcw means removing everything codewise and in realrtcw case it is literally everything.
