All you need is the base game. The outlaws DLC adds the minor factions but to get it all running just go with your friends with the base. 99% of the game is there with it.

Hmm would much prefer the Nebulon B-2. Although seeing the experimental TIE from X-Wing Alliance is super cool!

So excited for this. Tie Fighter is still really playable but X-Wing has sadly aged a bit too far. Miss this gem of a game.

Looks incredible. Just be careful that the targeting reticule and the cockpit aren't too close together. Can mess up the gameplay.

The Corvettes sound amazing.

Just one thing. One of the most annoying things about the special editions was the maddening volume of your own crafts engines. Careful with that please :/

Love that you are using the original music. I can't stand the special editions as it's just jarring baseline star wars music playing in a loop.

Yeah they tried to do it in Armada 3 but fan backlash stopped it. It's annoying here yes because proper representation of the ships is definitely better gameplay wise. Although in this mod it does help to differentiate the time period and visual style so I think it's something you can get used to. I don't find it a problem after a while.

If you wanted and welcomed feedback you would simply say "Thank you for your feedback and we'l look into it" Regardless of whether you finally ended up agreeing with it or not rather than implying that it's just the player playing stupidly and using .... to empahasize it.

Like I said youv set up these conditions to require a heavy degree of fleet combat so it's very valid feedback. Let alone the fact it doesn't take much of a fleet to inflict that crippling movement.

Sounding mature and professional and being it are quite different.

And lastly you'v created the situation where for a long period the Feds are seriously disadvantaged. And I like it. It's so different from Armada 3 and it feels right within Trek. I actually prefer the gameplay to A3.

But the only means to counter that is to have as much as possible to defend against the Klingon onslaught. Of course you have groups of ships in other areas because you have threats coming from everywhere. Pirates. Other empires and systems to defend so the stacking problem is naturally dealt with.

When you barely hold onto a system it feels like a victory. As such this penalty in it's current extreme ruins the Fed players ability to do what is absolutely necessary to survive. All i'l say about it.

You don't know how I'm playing. I'm doing very well in my games and I'm enjoying the mod very much.

The loading screens state that you want feedback. In my opinion a crippling movement speed doesn't work well. It's tiring, frustrating and takes away from the fun and excitement. I understand it's purpose is to encourage players not to stack but an 85% debuff is a bit extreme in my opinion. I saw a fleet moving and it literally took 10 minutes to cross a small grav well.

I'm not complaining that things should be removed because they are a bad concept. I'm suggesting that it at least needs tweaking.

I understand why it's happening. I'm saying imo that it hurts the game.

Alright I'l try the Franklin out even though I'd much rather have a much more powerful ship generally. Tough trade. Still think the shuttles need a little nerfing but at least there is an option.

Some feedback and just my opinion.

I like the power difference between Feds and Klings and how it progresses. Very well balanced for a first release. Aesthetically fantastic. Abilities are varied and interesting. Can't spot anything wrong there.

Problems for me are that Klingon shuttles are just brutal. There are so many of them and they literally blow up one ship after another and there doesn't seem to be a counter to them. Not only that but when the mothership is lost the shuttles seem to take an age to die.

Secondly ship speeds are extremely slow when in a group. Considering your typical Federation ship stands no chance 1v1 of course you have to rely on groups to survive. I saw speed penalties of up to 85% I believe and if an enemy scout is in the same gravwell then they are almost stationary.

This ties into the Klingon shuttles. You just lose everything and have almost no chance of getting away.

Other than that nothing major.

Two questions. Will it cause conflict if you haven't bought the DLC yet?

2nd. In the prior version I played with the TFF core and Nemesis core together. Is this only Nemesis?

Yes I have the menu hotfix installed.

I can load it up at 1920x1080 no problem windowed or not. 3840x2160 is blank full screen but works in windowed mode.

Iv just restored my PC and I cannot get Sins working at 3840x2160. It just comes up with a black screen. Iv run it at 4k before so it does work.

Anyone got any advice?

P.S - I can run it in windowed mode at 4k but it cuts part of the game screen off.

When they had the chance? What chance specifically? How would that have affected what has transpired anyway?

What if they released a very incomplete mod 6 months ago? You would just be saying, "it sucks trololol" etc and the issues would be the same regardless. Yours or anyones feedback wouldn't of changed the relevant issues that caused cancellation.

Perhaps if you read the article you might discover that one of the reasons why the project was unfeasible at this time was because Stellaris itself is constantly adjusting and adapting making the work impossible for a small team.

Yeah but as they do with all Trek Villains they start nerfing them so the heroes get a moment in the spotlight. In the end those Jem'hadar bug ships were just zapped with one shot each time. Would of much preferred them to have stayed as menacing as this.
