Have you made any weapons skins for your WWI CoD 2 mod? I'm trying to make a WWI mod myself but I don't have any proper textures for the weapons. Could you tell me what program/s I could use. Thanks.
Hi! I had very much the same problem, I found blender/3dsmax to be the easiest to do, but it takes a lot of conversion work. I haven't done work on this for almost two years, so i cant remember too much of what I did, but I know that editing the Karabiner 98 model to try to convert to a gewehr was easy enough, although I dont know if its worth contacting the creators of the spanish civil war mod to try and ask to borrow some of the models (they did already do the mauser). The Lee Enfield I think only needs retexturing, and the Webley was the same gun in WW1 as far as I'm aware. The real remodelling will come for the maxim and lewis guns. Hope this helps! I also updated my tutorial to a correct version, I wasn't specific in where to put the files (one or two things were wrong). Remember to rename the .zip back to .iwd once you're done!
rename the .iwd to .zip and see if that works
