Hey. Another way you could play around in the Visitor Center beta is if you download Garry's Mod and you can load the level through that.

The game is really looking great, I'm loving all of the new animations! Great job dudes!

I had some difficulty getting the mod to start. First I got the "could not load library client" bug, which I solved by copying the HL2 EP2 client.dll in the "bin" folder of the EP2 folder, into the RE2 mod "bin" folder.

I also had to copy the "models" and "materials" folders from HL2 and EP2 into the RE2 mod directory, as some textures were missing and causing the levels not to load.

Very well done mod! Quite fun! Great job Blood _Wraith!

Yea it's a bit of a rough patch, but have you been on the JL forums at all? Or watched the latest video on what's been going on?

I hope things get better soon, but there is a big mountain to overcome for the team. I do think that they should at least keep the fans up-to-date on their (mod leaders) status though.

Hrmm... Just digging around for an answer for you.

1. Make sure you have Half-Life 2 installed
2. Install Source SDK Base 2006 (under "tools" on your steam account). Honestly, it's best to have all of them installed to be ready for any mods. SDK Base 2007, 2006 and 2013.
3. Change the gameinfo text from "SteamAppId 220" to "SteamAppId 215". The gameinfo is in the Jurassic folder. c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\sourcemods\jurassic

I assume you're talking about the Visitor Center structure.
Download the "visitor.structure.rar" and drag it into c:/program_files/steam/steamapps/sourcemods

I agree. Don't give up, easy for a fan to say though. But this mod is far too special to so many people. Myself included.

So how will this game play out? Is it going to be an exact remake of the entire Resident Evil 2 game? Or is it only the RPD level?
Do you plan on adding customized NPCs, scripted sequences, original characters and scenes?

I've mentioned this before, but honestly I think that the trailer did reveal a bit too much. I'd be perfectly happy with a list of which new members are doing what, and possibly some screens as you say.

I watched the trailer that you linked on your deviantart page, it's a really interesting map. So many small details make for a believable atmosphere, and all the little monster boxes that float around make it cool!! I'd definitely download this and play around in it upon a release.
