Hey guys i have a youtube profile that contains a few videos of Fleet commander and some of me playing wow. i used Fraps to record the videos and windows movie maker to edit them. there are several secrets to making good homeworld 2 videos. hit backspace 2 times to make the menu go away. Use these commands to make your HW2 run a little better depending on your system

add these to your launch target parameter

-h and -w these change your resolution to a user defined setting. personally i use -w 1280 -h 720
-d3d Runs hw2 in direct x
-refresh 60 makes your refresh rate 60 hz
-hardwarecursor self explanitory makes it use hw mouse cursor
-luatrace not sure what this does but it helps
also -mod modname.big <---insert the mod name exactly as its written on the .big file this usually can be done by copying the filename with ctrl-c then pasting with ctrl-v

so when your done with your command line it should look like this

using complex mod as an example

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod Complex744.big -hardwarecursor -w 1280 -h 720 -d3d -luatrace -refresh 60
