From what I know the creator of that helmet based in on something from XII century. I can't remember what it was exactly though...

I wonder if Maciejowski Bible grat helmet would fit that time period... just as sallet helmets which were popular in ~ 1480 were present in 1410. They look really pretty.

Also I can't wait until release date. I'm checking up on your work from time to time with hope that you're close to the finish.

Maciejowski Bible could be a valuable source even though it's a bit later creation, some parts of equipment were the same in both centuries.
