I'm a USAF and Army veteran with over a decade of service, musician, military history buff, and avid fan of BF2 and its many mods, other military shooters and simulators like ArmA and FSX. Attended the Art Institute of Atlanta for Audio Engineering and Sound Design, so I'm always looking to do some audio work to help the modding community. The work I do also helps keep my portfolio and my mixing techniques current. Win win, right? So if any modders out there need some help with their audio... I've got almost 18 years' experience working in sound design/audio engineering. As well as designing foley effects on top of the formal education. Shoot me a PM if you need anyone to do your game audio. I have everything here at home to do it start to finish. *NOTE* DUE TO HAVING A PREGNANT WIFE, THINGS WILL BE PRIORITIZED DEPENDING ON PROJECT LOAD. It sucks, but there really isn't much I can do about it for the moment. Still working but Family first!

I'M BAAAAACK, HOES!

So after life kicked me in the balls a few times, here I am... up and pretty much back together. Had some surgeries, then got hit with a bunch of personal bullshit. I'ts all good now, I'm expecting a kid with the right girl, ready to start working sound again and doing the Dad thing. General Bradly and the rest of the team at IDF:FFI are AMAZING. They kept me updated even when I wasn't able to be in contact for over 2 years. May have to rearrange some shit, but no biggie. I'm back.

Time to get my ass back to work. Stay tuned, and keep up your support for these awesome BF2 Modders!

IDF:FFI Audio Update 12July2018

Well, It's been a VERY up and down week for me on the personal side of things, but I'ts not slowing me down.

I've finally finished the first two game music tracks of many... To great review from Gen. Bradly so far. Hopefully some of the other IDF crew can give them a listen as well sometime and lend their input as well.

Tonight, I'll be recreating Unified Arab Army Forces radio chatter from scratch, laying and then working on a Soundcloud channel so you all can hear my work and give some constructive advice.

I still have a ton more SFX to work on as well, but the way I'm doing those takes a lot of time. I have to locate and pull quality real-world source material, mark the segments I like, extract them, clean them up, mix them (usually in a 7.1 to 11.1 surround environment), and then bounce them to the proper final format before I run a series of audio analyses on the finals. If something isn't passing, then it's back to step one.

That's all I've got for this week, check back soon for more audio updates, and thank you for supporting a top notch mod from a first-rate team!
