i hate to burst your bubble but this is not a cod game, this game is going for a realistic look, and crosshairs would ruin the realistic feel, but the red screen is a good idea...

i think its cool that you cant run into other cars: cuz its annoing if you wipeout and you are trying to get back on track (without reseting the car) and some one rams you and sends you spinning around only to get a bad time. (like in time trial games)
