working on it. we have had some bad luck with animators, and other talent, but we are back on track, and working towards the light... i think i see it. :)
we do need some help with finishing player animations. if anyone has any experence, hit me up. other than that, we are done. just waiting on testing and code.
i promise. we are currently in alpha 2.7, and are progressing a alpha a week now, roughly. once we reach alpha 3.0, you can expect a flood of screens, and alpha testers posting about the gameplay. :)

so, since hl2 delay, we might make the hl1 release date, w00t. :) so we are back on track..
to clear it up, the original plan was to release for hl1. due to some circumstances beyond our control, and some delays, the fact has come to light that to cocentrate on hl1 engine as first release, would put our release date on or around the day hl2 is released. this is fruitless, therfor the move and decision to release the first version on hl2 has come to light.
first release will be on hl2. internal beta will be released for hl1, and the screens and such will be released, but thats about it. We are concentrating on the hl1 coding to get the gameplay, speeds etc down, but there will not be a release.
The code will be ported, our weapons meet hl2 specs perfectly, so we are shooting to be the first mod released for hl2. let us hope. :)
That would be a close combat "smack" animation, able to be excuted on any weapon. this will set your opponent in a "reel" of sorts, causing his direction, screen, and ability to control the player going into disarray. thus allow you to move in for the kill. :)

code is going well, and we are in the process of updateing some weapons skins and finishing up player models. we are still in need of animators in all departments, so if your interested hit me up.

we have been a bit quiet lately, but everyones working and we have some major stuff on the way. with school back in, etc etc, things are a bit off, but we are getting back into the groove and will have stuff shortly.
about future weapons? damn people, ghost recon is set in 2008, i dont hear anyone screaming about it. we are not like ******* jet jackson and bionic cyber T2 type **** people, its just a decade in the future....thats it.
its a show of real intellegence to say something like that, and then not to login and say something like well, that says it all.
if you dont like it, dont play it.

they may look that way, but anyone who has been playing with high poly weapons packs or hl customs has been using this polycount. it will be a bit of a frag for extreme low end, but thats about it.
i think honestly if they are dead, delete them. dont take up space. if they want to resume or rebuild team, let them resubmit.
