V 1.6 is up. Minor fixes. This should be the final version.

There was a mistake made when uploading the file yesterday (9/17/21) V1.6 MOD. Corrected.

We've been testing and fixing things that were overlooked on the Small Mod. The team just got bigger and we have more eyes on the game now. There will be an update to this very soon.

Big Mod progress is coming along nicely. We're almost ready to release the first version soon.

Hi. I'm sorry you're having trouble. I don't know if the mod will run in Remastered. I've not tried it there yet.
The game crashes while loading the mission map. This sounds like something is out of place but I can't be sure.
1) Have you tried any of the "HW-Fixes-If-Needed"? I put these in to try to cover all scenarios. This should be a last resort.
2) What are your video settings? Are you using default glide? This is recommended.
3) Can you link to your "debugMessagesTvK.txt" file please?
4) Have you tried different maps? I've not checked all maps and there may be one or two that don't get along well with the game.
5) Does this happen in both MP and SP or just one or the other?

From now on, if there are updates they will have the version number on the download and in the readme file.
New Version 1.4 has been uploaded. Several fixes.

It was recommended by the admins. I'm going to take down the old one shortly. I found a mistake in the original. I wanted everyone to know there is a difference so I left it up.

Found an error in the r2 heavy defender. Armor rating was way too high. Uploaded NEW fixed version of TvsK-S

Turanic vs Kadesh conversion Mod.
There will be 2 versions of this Mod. The first using the original Turanic Carrier and Kadesh Needle ship as motherships, along with mini-carriers to build strike craft.
SP is fully functional and there will be special guest appearances from Taidan (factions) and Derelict races.
There are some very big differences in TvsK. Build, research, SP, all have a different feel. The biggest difference is in the build menus. They are very different for each race. There are "build" and "non-build" categories. Non-build ships are available in MP crates, MP maps, and make appearances in SP.
Capturing is a little different also. If the ship is too big to fit into the hangar, then it can't be captured.

...I've just downloaded and looked through the ships in this mod. This is not the original finished T vs K mod. Many of the Kadesh ships are mine (not all) but the Turanic side is lacking many of the original ships. Someone has replaced a lot of the original ships. My Turanic mothership and frigate repair scaffold are not here either.

We did not use any derelict ships, Kushan ships, or Taidan ships but someone has replaced several original models with them.

What I think happened: Someone acquired the mod 'in progress'. Possibly one of the few people we had helping, and finished it hap hazard. The original finished mod probably came out after this one. This one is a pre MOD WIP pieced together by someone.

A shame. I was hoping to see all the old models we made. I lost my copy a few years ago because of an error in judgment on my part. I accidentally deleted it during a PC upgrade.

I'm impressed at your dedication. If I run across any I'll definitely give you a shout :)
