Yeah I agree, it looks like a cheap knock off. But I always liked the original design. Make it look more like the original and just call it the Starlancer battle cruiser, problem solved. :D

This game has damn good potential. Even though it's still in its infancy, it's quite easy to play but if you want a chance to actually win you can't just charge in a rusher/steamroller fashion but you can't be too conservative either and since orders from both sides are made before the execution phase you're just as likely of moving in to an unwanted battle as you are missing your opponent entirely because he moved his troops. Be smart, be resourceful, use the terrain to your advantage, and for the love of god do not set your swordsmen up against cavalry. XD

why were they sent to the Mid-East in RL?

Yeah, but if you look through the game manuals, guides, etc. it's spelled 'NOD' so it's not actually wrong as NOD is short for The Brotherhood of Nod.

I do like both... Perhaps scale it down, slap a Nod logo and a stealth emitter on that sucker and u have yourself a heavy stealth tank :D but just an idea

lol the only part of this game that seems to be like minecraft appears to be the destructible environment and mining/salvage aspects but seems more like it's planned to be headed toward a more Freelancer method of play, but i'm just getting this from the summery XD. +1 watch :D

@thisisgamer sure it does, doesn't make it legal but the internet got popular because it's unregulated in most countries and despite what you may think, millions of people are DLing illegally copied/obtained materials for u?... guessed it, FREE! so technically if it's on the net it's free, not necessarily legal. i never said it wouldn't, but as far as tech is concerned the firehawk still uses jet propulsion and missile weaponry while the banshee (correct me if i'm wrong)uses a gravimetric drive and superheated plasma weapons... and i suddenly just relized i'm arguing a fictional concept.. what has become of me! D':

especially since the banshee is supposedly more advance that anything GDI can put in the air, as far as strike craft are concerned anyway.
