An idea, I do not know if it's good, but ...
The IGs could have more defensive tools, not just turrets, but dig trenches for their vehicles and soldiers, set up bunkers, place ammunition boxes, and even ammunition / medical / intelligence tents, I think the war would become more alive and would make life easier for IG soldiers
