I just Updated my profile a bit more. i.e. I added an avatar and a bio.

Now I have a complaint about MODdb.
It is a great website, just the ads that are shown are entirely unrelated, and would not appeal at all to the majority of moddb's audience. Moddb's audience is mainly male, as most gamers are male, and most of the ads are for "create a cartoon version of yourself" or "lose fat quickly"
This is just rediculous, and I'll be surprised if moddb gets very much money for these ads.
Another ad that I find gets anoying is that DROID ad that seems to be at the begining of every single video. If they are going to put ads in front of videos, they should at least have many different ads, otherwise you will just end up pissing off most of your audience.
Otherwise, I've been having a great time at MODDB.

Adds are adds and regardless of whom they target, they still keep ModDB free for all of us ( although I see your point ). You'll just have to suck it up like the rest of us so that you can continue to enjoy the site. A necessary evil my fellow member.
Yes, I have realised this, but, My main complaint is they are almost all entirely irrelevent, for instance "I lost 28 pounds in 2 weeks" is not going to make very much money for moddb.
It is not really the annoyance of ads that I am talking about, but the fact that if moddb got more relevent ads, they could get a lot more money.
I was a bit aggro when I posted, so I appear more annoyed than I really am. I know how imkportant it is to have ads on moddb, but the fact that they have ads that will appeal to 0.5% of their audience just seems a bit lack luster.
Anyway, I am going to stop repeating things now and go have something to eat
