Hello! Haven't been on moddb awhile but always find my way back to this project pag haha. Your own project sounds fascinating, any information go public yet, be it its own moddb page, forum post, or what have you? As my free time rapidly increase I'm actually looking to get involved in some projects like this if my skillset is of use.

my thoughts exactly. Has there yet been anything for empire at war? let alone anything BESIDES the Homeworld 2 mod, that actually got something close to finished?

This download's barely a gig and a half and it's gonna take whatever's left of the evening. Im not complaining too hard, but this is abnormally slow for moddb, thought the devs might want this made known and possibly look into it.

So Im still confused as to waht exactly this mod offers...can someone enlighten me? Trying to prioritize what EAW models to explore when.

is it truly a comparison if you offer features they don't, or vice versa? That was more along the lines of what I intended to ask.

so what do I get out of this mod that Republic At War doesn't deliver?

Loving the mod so far man, just to be clear the campaign is not functional right now on purpose, correct? there's nothing wrong on my end when I try to start a new campaign and nothing happens when I click "start game" ?

Played this last night for awhile, incredible job so far, I love a great nostalgia high and this delivered.

Now you sound like you're making some valid points if this mod was out in its current state the week the game launched. However we're long past that, we've got 4 DLC's not to mention a slew of official patches, one of which last july that was a massive 3.5GB or something. With the utmost respect, did you consider how much has improved post-launch before you make your point? In short, For the miniscule amount the game now costs, and with the DLC's, patches, and this mod, do we have something akin to a solid experience?

I have nothing but respect for someone willing to do the dirty work of salvaging the Colonial Marines trainwreck, and it looks like you've done a great job.

I gotta ask the community though, say I could get this game for approx. $10, would this mod make it worth my time? does it at least bring the experience close to what we should've gotten in vanilla? Please share any feedback you have.

That it is. Beautiful addition to Star Trek, the ship and the game, wouldn't you say? god was that fun in the final days of the PS1.

so if I may inquire... if two years ago you had this much done, which is incredible of course...just how much is there really left to do before I can play the HW1 campaign on HW2's beautiful engine?

Hey guys! thanks so much for all your hard work. I just wondered if this actually overwrites any vanilla soulstorm files? My less than technically capable compatriot has not yet installed UA while I have, is there some way I can play with him or would a hard reinstall be necessary?

What I still have yet to get a straight answer on is as follows... can the 9 year old engine that is Generals actually be overhauled to such a point that it looks like these pictures you keep uploading? and is that what you're doing exactly?
