Only in theory possible :D We integrated Rainy Days a while ago, but we have to fix an enormous count of bugs, before we can even think of a release. And it's pretty hard to motivate yourself for something you finished 2 years ago xD So maybe in the near future, a "trilogy" edition with all 3 projects together will be released, but no promises yet ;)

There is actually a mini game easteregg available. Just start a new game with the New Game button (and read the intro text again) after you fully beat Wreckage for the first time and see what happens :D

There is no HUD in the main menu, as it's only a video ;) You should be able to start a new SP game. If you have no interface at all and only the video, please check your WreckageGame.log file and maybe perform a re-download, as yours seems likely to be corrupted.

This is a known bug, but even after rebuilding the whole part the bug was still present, so it has something to do with the CryEngine. It also doesn't happen every time.

But their is a quick fix: Just go into the main menu, select Singleplayer->Chapter Selection, scroll to the very right and choose the last chapter, you should exactly start where you left off and the bug should be fixed. Just follow Major Cafferty.

This is intended. Most of these lines are quotes from Serious Sam and meant as a joke ;)

When you first start Wreckage, an input box should appear and you have to enter 1,2,3 for German,English or Spanish subtitles. If you typed in the wrong number, browse to the Wreckage/Game/Localized folder and delete the "Default.lng" file. When you start Wreckage now, the input box should appear again.

Also just the subtitles are translated, the spoken language is always German.

Maybe your download is corrupted? Please try a re-download and if this doesn't help, post the content of the WreckageGame.log file here please. Maybe it can help to locate the problem.

If you mean inside Wreckage, there is chapter system implemented, which you can use. But if you mean previous installments such as Rainy Days, then no, there are not included in this version.

But they do in our country. So we can make it as well. I'm able to enjoy any good foreign movie, maybe I can't understand the language, but there are subtitles which help me out. We are doing the same thing.

If you can't appreciate something like this, then please don't play it.

You CAN kill him. He has a very high amount of health, but 3 headshots will do the job. Then you get something as a reward.

Where are you exactly? Just follow the green waypoint should help. If really nothing happens, quit the game, go into the main crysis menue, select Singleplayer>Chapter Selection and choose the very last chapter on the right.
This should help, when the game gets stuck.

The most content we use is already third party. We have full credits in Wreckage, so you can find them if you want ;)

When it comes to our own stuff and the cry files, which contain the whole game logic, we'll see. But from the past I can say, that we always released everything after some time. Just keep your eyes open :D

We included a summary of the story at the beginning of Wreckage. So you will have no problems to understand it ;)

But that the two predecessors are totally bad isn't true. 'The Harbour' is just grown old and 'Rainy Days' is still great gameplay wise, but was a little bit bugged when it first came out. But at their time of release, they were both critically acclaimed.

I suggest you enjoy Wreckage first. The plan is, to patch Rainy Days a little while after and then we will release a 'trilogy' edition, so you can play all three Mods together in one sitting.

Sorry, no. But you can download the Crysis Wars trial version totally for free without any costs. It's not even timely restricted for SP Mods. ;)

Haha, nice explanation there :D Yeah I see that some people from the US may have a problem with US marines speaking German, but they have to understand that we always get a very good German localization for every game and movie, so we're accustomed to that. It's not unusual for us.

If you really have that big of an issue with it, just think of it as a foreign independent movie, which also features an unknown language most of the time and has only english subtitles, but it can be entertaining as well.

The voice quality is perfectly fine ingame ;) Here is proof:

The only difference in the game is, that their are a few filters applied to them in real time e.g. for radio messages, pilots and so on. But this won't impact the audio quality at all, except it's intentionally (distortion effect for radio messages etc.).

The bad quality in this video series however, is the result of recording, converting and uploading.

You'll see it for yourself in the coming weeks :D

I'm sensing a little fear in you, but don't worry, Wreckage will never be callenced. We're still making progress everyday. We only have reached a point where there is not so much to show anymore.
However when we have enough stuff together for a news, we let you know :D

Sounds really good. CryEngine 2 has indeed some problems, when it comes to puzzles and physics, but most of them are solvable, if you put enough time and some workarounds in there.
Just look at some maps like "The Resort (SP)" and "Cold Mountain (SP)" both by skm. They use puzzles in a very interesting way.

Just that you know, subtitles are completely supported by CryEngine2, even in multi language. I use the system myself for some mods and it's working very well. Some Mods like Crysis Wars EX and Rainy Days are also using this system, to give the player localized subtitles in his language. The only thing you have to do, is turn on the subtitles check box in "Game Settings" and Voilà :D

-Walkspeed too low. I really got the feeling, you just walk from one point of interest to another. And when danger is present, you really wish you could run.
-Heavy use of "player locking in place" feature. At some times it is necessary, but not with every text message (Part2) and dialog (Part1).
-Too many invisible walls. I know you want to tell a story, but there are better ways to hinder the player to go somewhere. It looks really silly, when you can't even jump across a little fence.
-Too silent at times. I couldn't get the mood, because the ambient sounds outside my house are way louder than the game. More ominous music would be nice.

Positives:
-Overall good leveldesign and optimization.
-Only some minor bugs, nothing critical.
-Exceptional story
-Good drawings

The 6/10 are only for the story, gameplay wise it is a 3 or 2. Sorry ;)

Overall I think it would be a better idea to publish your good story to a book, then a game.
Actually I believe my imagination can create a better experience with your story then you did with this mod.

But I don't want you to stop modding. Next time, think a little bit more about the gameplay, create some interesting things and variation and polish it more. Then I really could see an awesome interactive story from your team :)

Hey there. So here is my review of this MOD.

Overall, I like the story the most. It's really compelling and interesting. But the gameplay itself - meh.
I completely support every MOD, which tries to be different, but you have to make it interesting. So here are my main flaws:

-Too user-unfriendly. 2 years ago it was no problem when a MOD didn't have a shortcut or batch file. But at this time it is really outdated. Same for the need to open the console to launch the map, there are ways to implement a "New Game" feature in 10 seconds. So this looks only cheap.
-Unpolished folder structure. There is a reference in the info.xml of Part1 to a "newport.jpg" picture which doesn't even exist. So the Mod Loader of Crysis doesn't show anything. Part2 even has many empty folders and it is really not a good idea to separate the MOD and Level folder.
-Absent of subtitles. I'm not a native English, so this was very hard for me to play, because I can't understand the speaker (volume way to low). So I'm really depending on subtitles. In the intro of Part 1 there are subtitles, but they are too long for certain resolutions and the black background bar is also too short. After that, there are no subtitles to be found anymore, which is very inconsistent. It is funny, because you criticized in some of your reviews, that Mods would have the "wrong" language, but you also didn't care about subtitles to help other people out. Amusing thing is, there is a folder in your mod called "Unterkunft_1", which is German...
-Missing legs for the player (there are good human legs to be found on crymod)
-Missing HUD. I realize you don't need it, but a text message, when a book is nearby, would be nice.

It was me I think. I gave the MOD a 6, but somehow it changed to 1 when I came back here. It should now be fixed. My apologies ;)

Kein Problem. Du kannst dir Crysis Wars kostenlos runterladen. In der Version geht zwar kein MP, aber LAN und SP Mods gehen ohne Beschränkung. Ist auch alles ganz legal ;)

The MOD provides full english localization. You just have to turn on the subtitles in the menu (Options->Game Settings->Subtitles) ;)
