Taleworlds took down their servers for Bannerlord version 1.0.3. This means the mod cannot be played until we update it to support version 1.1.0 (we're working hard on that).

Also, for future reference, there's no need to disable the Native and Multiplayer modules, they can be enabled just fine.

The amount of enemies scales based on the amount of players, up to 100 players. That means that the amount of bots is the same if there are 120 as when there are 200 players. Otherwise, servers would have a very hard time running for high player counts.

Keep in mind that this is version 0.1, so we haven't worked on implementing custom models yet. Right now the focus lies on building a proper base for the mod, and yeah that means that for now we stick to the assets that are available to us by default: Native. We are for sure planning on adding a lot more factions in the future, though.

Hi there,
We're still monitoring the new respawn system to ensure that it doesn't make the mod too easy. We've already made several other changes over the course of the betas to ensure the invasions still pose a challenge.
As for why we didn't change to just a 1 wave respawn, it's because we felt like that would just be a bandaid problem. The main problem we wanted to tackle with this new system is the immense wait times at the later end of games, and having a 1 wave respawn would cut those times down, but since late-game waves still usually last 10+ minutes, those wait times would still be quite excessive.

So bottom line: if we find that the mod is too easy now, we'll compensate more (for example: letting players have a maximum of 2 lives instead of 3, increasing bot damage, making it harder to get that second life, etc). I disagree that it "killed all the gameplay", though, since its main benefit is that it enables more gameplay.

We maintain a roadmap in our Discord server, which shows how far along we are with each planned feature. We don't have a release date as we're just a bunch of people doing this in our spare time, so sometimes we don't make progress for a month, which makes it hard to pinpoint a release date.

We are getting very close to beta testing the new version, though, so it's not much longer!

The reason we don't have as many factions in FI2 is because Warband can't handle the large amount of textures we need to make a lot of factions (with more than a handful of options per faction). Hopefully Bannerlord won't have this limitation. In that case, we're definitely planning to have a lot more factions in FI3!

Sometimes a small group of players will use a server and abuse the kick function to make sure no one else joins. This is very annoying if you're just trying to play the mod, though the kicking system can be quite useful to remove actually disrupting players when no admins are around, so we can't just remove that because some people abuse it.

If you'll take a look at our latest article, we're planning to tackle the respawn issue. As for the factions argument, I never truly understood that argument. Compared to previous editions of the mod, you have far more loadouts and classes to pick from within the same faction. So if you find yourself forced to play the same faction multiple times, you can choose to play an entirely different class every time. There are, of course, only a limited amount of truly "meta" picks for each faction, but that doesn't make all the other options invalid.

We have 33 maps to pick from, which I think is a pretty wide selection (granted, several of those maps are quite a bit worse than others).

Now, it's certainly the case that servers tend to play the same combinations of maps and factions over and over. There's not much we can do about that, though: again, there will always be a few options that are favored by the majority of the community. This was the case in Amber as well.

Runtime errors are unfortunate, but they are also the reason why we don't have more factions to choose from. Adding more factions greatly increases the amount of crashes that occur. You can try the steps from this guide to hopefully help prevent those errors: Steamcommunity.com

So, sorry to hear the mod isn't a favorite of yours anymore, but I politely disagree with some of your reasons why.

Hi,
We understand you are upset about the change from Amber to Osiris. Some people (you included, it seems) preferred to have a lot of different factions that didn't have as much depth. We didn't.

As always, people who preferred older versions of FI2 claim that the mod died when we made Osiris. It didn't. Just last week we had a server with 75 players online. Amber 2.0 never reached those numbers outside of 1-2 community events from other, much larger communities.

So please, before you come rage on our ModDB page again, educate yourself on your claims, so you don't sound like you're talking out of your *** while spouting homophobic slurs at people who have different preferences than you. Have a good day!

The files that we use do not use the groups of numbers that you mention. Rather, we edit the code of the mod, which then gets compiled to the numbers found in music.txt.

Either way, I can reverse-engineer to a degree. 268443648 and 268443712 are the songs that play during the final wave. The first will play once, then the game will continue looping the second. These are the extended versions you mentioned.

268437504 are songs that will play while fighting random waves or early boss waves.

268436032 are songs that will play for specific minor bosses.

268439616 are songs that play for specific late game bosses (Balrog, Calradian kings, etc).

It would be far more effective if you report people you feel are being toxic to the admins of whatever server that's happening on. If it happens on the official servers, please find us on Discord to report toxic behaviour.
Your example, however, sounds much more like you just don't like some other players prefer to play. Playing the Calradia factions in Osiris is far from the same as playing Native.

As for "do something unless you like your **** community", again, there's nothing we can do outside of the official servers. If we find toxic people on the official servers, we get rid of them to try and maintain a healthy community. Some other servers don't feel the need to do that though, and we can hardly force them to.

Hi, the new patch has a bug that causes players to automatically be banned when you look at an elite class (and possibly also a hero). We are working on a fix for this ASAP, and will undo any bans that were caused by this. Apologies for the inconvenience!

[FI3]_Maroon - - 51 comments @ Full Invasion 2 - “Loadout Lowdown”

As it says in the article:
"These range from small things like simple price adjustments to much larger things like redesigned maps and brand new systems. One of the things we are the most excited about in the upcoming versions is the new loadout screen, so we’re going to be talking about it a bit today."

We as current developers have a significantly different vision on how faction and map balance should be than the original developers had. Earlier versions of Full Invasion focused heavily on giving players as many choices as possible. While we agree that players should be able to create their own unique situations (I think Amber boasts (technically) a few hundred thousand different combinations?), we feel that the emphasis is not on the right place, which is the main reason we are creating Osiris: to do everything over, our way.

Faction and map balance is broken in Amber because that's how Full Invasion 2 has always been designed up to now. The mod has always been littered with loopholes (60 head armor that costs 240 gold, while another with 25 armor costs 1500), some classes or invasion troops are blatantly overpowered, while others sourly lack in strength and options. We couldn't completely fix that in Amber, nor are we doing so in Amber 2.0 (although the price loopholes will be gone).

So worry not. Amber 2.0 is a patch that brings some of the flashy new toys we developed (like this one) and clear some more of the dirt around the edges of Amber. After that our full attention will go to creating quality factions and maps from the ground up.
