I understand how you feel. The old one was more consistent with most of the interpretations you might have seen. However, I think this new one is more graceful and works much better in my opinion. The model is changing all the time and already his hump is larger.

I think I've probably deleted the old Deinocheirus, but if I find it backed up somewhere I'll definitely include it as an option.

A huge issue in paleontology is that there is a huge amount we just have to assume. That's not inherently a bad thing, but sometimes people over-assume and assign modern mammalian characteristics to ancient bird-crocodiles. I don't think dromaeosaurids displayed complex pack behaviour. They probably lived and perhaps hunted in groups, but I'm just not sure that they were neurologically capable of coordinating complex hunting routines like wolves or lions.

Spinosaurus is an interesting case about which I have my own feelings. I think Spinosaurus' head was far too valuable to be used as a weapon. I reckon Spinosaurus was all bark and no bite. Carcharodontosaurus would easily dispatch even a gigantic Spinosaurus, but I don't think he'd ever try it because Spinosaurus is just so huge and intimidating. That's one possible function of the sail, along with sexual selection and thermoregulation and all the other hypotheses that have been put forward.

In this mod, Spinosaurus will be fairly gigantic but not overly so. He's definitely the longest large carnivore, since his tail ends in a fluke, but he's also the slowest and the weakest in combat. I'm debating having Spinosaurus scare away all other predators because of the reasons stated above. His sail was clearly extremely important, and I think he used it partly to appear giant and scary. Obviously I have to be careful not to impose my opinions onto others, but I'm definitely open to accommodating other opinions by providing alt files and stuff.

Lurdusaurus will be replacing Iguanodon in the first release. I'm not content with just making an Ouranosaurus without a sail, so Lurdu is an excellent choice to take Iguano's spot. Brontosaurus definitely needs extra love, but I'm not sure as of yet how to implement him. Stay tuned for more developments.

Hi, nice video! It wouldn't be possible for you to share the program you used to edit the TML files, would it? It would be greatly appreciated.

I’d like to work harder on finishing the mod than showing it off. I personally think the models look and work fine, and I’ll upload pictures when I can.

Sauropod necks is definitely a contentious issue. I love the WWD sauropods, but we have to remember that that show is 20 years old and the science has changed a lot. I was kinda upset when I found out diplodocus had changed, but we must accept and follow the science.

Unfortunately as far as adding new dig sites and things is concerned, I’m completely out of my depth. While it would be nice to have individual digsites, the way the game is designed doesn’t make it very easy to do so. Maybe if I edit animations then I’ll add new digsites, but at the moment that’s also way beyond my ability.

I think a giant raptor will make it into the mod, but there’s so many choices! I’d like Austroraptor to definitely be in the mod just because of his interesting behaviour, but as for the other giant raptors I’m not too sure.

You’re welcome! I just saw him on a chart of cerotopsians and I just really liked the look of him.

Indominus is pretty much a Giganotosaurus with Spinosaurus arms. He won't be in this mod, but Giga will be.

The mod is not finished. I might just release a non-MST version and let others use my models whilst continuing to upload here. I dunno yet.

The Tyrannosaurus in the mod is based on Sue, yes. I might include a more muscular Scotty model in the future, as the current Tyrannosaurus is a bit on the lean side.

Tsintaosaurus is definitely an interesting dinosaur, but I'm not sure it really looked like that. Here's an article explaining the change in Tsintaosaurus' crest Nationalgeographic.com

Amargasaurus is definitely making into the mod at some point soon - I’m still having trouble with Shunosaurus. I’d rather it not just be a camara with a club, so I’ve been experimenting with edited kentro and stego models, with mixed results.

Baryonyx isn’t currently in the mod. Ichthyovenator is actually a fairly large predator, taller than a man. I might lean him out a little bit because at the moment he’s a bit beefy.

Thank you very much! As far as Spino goes, he’s pretty huge already. If you see in the picture on this page, I’ve lengthened his body and tail to be more in line with the 2014 reconstruction.

Sinoceratops is definitely an interesting dinosaur. Whether I'd make him screen-accurate to JWFK is up for debate though. I'll have to do research.

When this mod releases, absolutely! I claim absolutely no ownership of the models in this mod, as all I've done really is modify Blue Tongue's original models.

Argentinosaurus definitely deserves to be in the mod, since he is the largest of all dinosaurs. Giganotosaurus probably won't make it into the mod, sorry. I've had absolutely no luck with getting crocodiles act like predators, but I'll probably include a something-suchus for you to put in your Spinosaur enclosures.

Sorry friend, I’ve no idea why that’s happened. It’s most likely something on the site’s end. I’ll be releasing a new version shortly so it should be fixed.

I think I'd rather include a more unique brachiosaurid than giraffatitan to be honest. I was thinking europasaurus, but I've not really decided yet.

I'm not really aiming for realism in the digsites. If I can figure out how to do it sometime in the future, I'll probably do it. But for right now I'd rather variety over accuracy.

I think homalocephale will be replaced by prenocephale and the model will be altered to have a dome.

I'll go off common sense when there's no fossil evidence. Tyrannosaurus probably didn't keep its feather into adulthood, but the smaller tyrannosaurs probably did. I'll definitely try to include quills on cerotopsians, and dromaeosaurs will be very fuzzy. The more birdlike a dinosaur, the more likely I reckon it had feathers.

Dinosaur sounds are troubling. On one hand, Tyrannosaurus roaring like an elephant is fairly awesome. On the other hand, I don't think dinosaurs would have roared as much as they do in the Jurassic franchise, if at all. I think giant dinosaurs like Torvosaurus or Tyrannosaurus would have bellowed like this Youtube.com but only during territorial confrontations, which is why I'll probably end up making it so dinosaurs roar far less often and less ... awesomely. Smaller, more social dinosaurs probably vocalised like modern birds, and the sounds probably got more elaborate as the mesozoic era progressed. So Triassic dinosaurs will probably have rudimental noises, whilst the hadrosaurs and dromaeosaurs of the Late Cretaceous will probably have quite elaborate noises.

Also dinosaurs won't stomp. Elephants don't stomp, so dinosaurs shouldn't either.

I'll most likely be done with the vanilla dinos in a week or two. The new dinos, however, will probably not be done for a while.

I’m gonna try to stick to real life where I can, hence the accurately scaled dilophosaurus and allosaurus. I like the original three films but I’m not at all interested in making this a Jurassic World mod or anything.
