So is the map going to be graphically changed significantly, or is it going to stay as it was before? I am curious to see a mod that graphically changes it at least texture wise, but if not that's still way more than okay with me, I know this must be A LOT of work lol!

You know that is FALSE, as these guys have been updating. Not always that often, but if they were going to say it were dead, they would say on the actual site, and on the main page for the mod here.

Umm, GtaIV is a BITCH. If you use that instead of SA for this mod, IT WILL DIE! Not only is it a pain in the *** to mod GTA IV, but Its not nearly as fun to play in the first place! The game takes up 17 ******* gig, and it runs like *** on my computer, and my computer runs Fallout3 on MAX. I doubt this mod is going to go anywhere if you move it over to IV, PLEASE DONT DO IT! Im begging you! Mods on GTA IV arent great so far though, so maybe you will make modding history. But I have my doubts, there have been numerous attempts at bringing greatness to GTA IV, but most have failed.

Oh your not the only one whos game they ****** up! That mod turned into **** in the last version! The problems are endless! I reinstalled mine as well, beleive me, They have gotten SOOOOO many complaints about how many problems that damn mod had. The only way I could get mine to work again, was to delete EVERY LITTLE trace of the games files, and the mods files (Including saves). Thats ******* redicculous, and The KR mod was even WORSE!

Oops, didnt notice, you planned to get some mods in the first place! lol. Sorry for the uselessness! Either way, the best of luck to you, this is a hell of a project to tackle for your first mod. I wouldnt be surprised if you DID pull it off though, you seem MUCH more determined than any of the other mods Ive encountered being based on IAL. I would help, but I dont know jack about modding, unfortunately. For San Andreas at least. I hope to figure out how I could help soon, and I will post a comment saying I can. I dont know how I can help, but Ill see what I can do.

There are plenty of I am Legend script mods out there, on Gta garage there is one in fact. If I was you, Id talk to who ever made that mod, and see if you cant negotiate him/her to join your mod team. There are two problems left, simplistically anyways, youd really only need to worry about, skins, and the attack of the player by darkseekers. There are a plethura of zombie skins floating around as well, I guess if you got the full permission of the authors of those, you could just package those in as well, but from what Ive read, you dont want to take the cheap way out, so I guess taking the time to find someone interested would pay off, in terms of skins. I hope to see this mod succeed. There have been so many people who have attempted to bring this sort of thing to life, and just faded away, I hope this doesnt happen here! Best of luck to you.

Looking back so far, do you guys think it would have been easier to make this mod in San Andreas? I know youve probably heard this question before, but I now realize that SA already has railroad, as well as a larger map space. I dont know much about modding though, other than its a very long, personal process on a mod like this.

Looking good! keep up the great work, but dont rush it! Rushing is what causes mods to die out quickly after release. Take your time to get it to perfection.

They probably just used the Gears engine and made all new animations, models, etc, Im sure that was no easy task. Keep up the good work people! This mod ROKKKKS!!!!
