Sorry for a bit late reply.. Just wanted to say the mod should be running in multiplayer too. In case you run into some troubles, here are some hints of what to focus on for troubleshooting (copied from my previous reply to someone else on the same topic):

1. Maybe the game requires all players in multiplayer running the same game files (mods) to connect to and run the multiplayer game? Is everyone else for your MP game running this mod too?

2. The mod was made for both SWAT 4 game as well as for Stechkov Syndicate expansion, so the it actually consists of modified texture files coming from v1.1 of the game. For singleplayer game, it really doesn't matter if you're running 1.0 or 1.1 (tested as working on both), but maybe multiplayer has some specifics for that.. Have you tried updating the game to 1.1?

3. What if you troubleshoot one specific file that gives you this error? I mean did you try to replace for example "???.utx" file with the previous one (from your backup)?

4. Is single-player working normally for you? Are you running any other mods together with this one? If yes, then check if the other mod is having some texture files too (*.utx). If so, the best thing is to take those individual texture files and put them back to your game folder after installing my mod.

All in all, if you follow the instalation procedure steps, you can simply always restore your previous game from your backup.

Ps. The mod download is working normally, the zip file is available..

I didn't add this option as I didn't really want to interfere with any core data or engine files of the game (to maximize compatibility of this mod).
However, there is still a possibility to change screen resolution to literally whatever values you want easily via Notepad. Here's how to do it:

(1) Use Notepad to open the following TWO files - "...\SWAT 4\Content\System\swat4.ini" (the main game) and "...\SWAT 4\ContentExpansion\System\swat4x.ini" (the expansion).

(2) Find a text string saying "[WinDrv.WindowsClient]" (without the quotation marks) in both files.

(3) Right under this line, simply change the values for variables "FullscreenViewportX" and "FullscreenViewportY" (you may need to change also values for "WindowedViewportX" and "WindowedViewportY") with the screen resolution you want to see in the game and save both files.

Additionally, if you want to go ahead and further enhance texture rendering, here are additional steps of how to enable Anisotropic Filtering in the game:

(4) In the same two files, find a line starting with a text string "LevelOfAnisotropy" (the row should look like: "LevelOfAnisotropy=1"); it will be in a block of settings called "[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice]".

(5) Change the default number there to the level of anisotropic filtering you prefer ("4", "8" or "16", which is the maximum value) and save the files.

NOTE #1: If your new screen resolution will be set to other ratio than 4:3 (e.g. you will have it as 1920x1080 Full HD, which is ratio 16:9), then upper and lower part of what you see in the game will be cut out. This means you will not see the full weapons anymore, plus the bomb countdown timer may be messed up too.

NOTE #2: Make sure you don't change your settings inside the game after altering the screen resolution in Notepad. That would revert the resolution back to the nearest available (i.e. to 1600x1200 usually) and you would then have to change it in Notepad again.

thank you:)
as for the mods, there are indeed gameplay mods available for this game. the best is to go to "mods" category for swat4 (https://www.moddb.com/games/swat-4/mods) of stetchkov expansion (https://www.moddb.com/games/swat-4-the-stetchkov-syndicate/mods) here on moddb and try out which one of them you may like

Well, it should work as it consists only of texture files. But you know it's not possible to test its compatibility with every single mod for SWAT 4 out here, so I cannot guarantee it for sure.
The best you can do is to follow the installation instructions, go ahead and try it. And in case it does not work by any chance, you can simply always restore the previous state of your game (as described in the installation instructions for my mod).

I believe this handy PDF tutorial written directly by a SWAT 4 game developer is what you need.. ;)

If some of it solves your trouble, do let us know. It may help to other players out here too.

Sure it would, but I believe it's for some statistics here, because you simply cannot upload any file on ModDB without specifying what type of file it is (as it is mandatory to select one of the types given in the dropdown menu). And as long as it's a full version of the mod, its download file is classified as "full version" too.
Anyway, it's the rules of ModDB, not mine, so that's simply how it is.. ;)

The best thing would be if someone who actually has experience in playing SWAT 4 with mods could answer on that question, because there may be some specific rules you need to follow to be able to successfully run modded SWAT 4 on multiplayer. Sadly, I'm not playing SWAT 4 multiplayer at all but I'll at least try to give you some hints of what may possibly be the reasons for this trouble...

3. What if you troubleshoot that one specific file that gives you this error? I mean did you try to replace this "SwatGearTex.utx" file with the previous one (from your backup)?

4. Is single-player working normally for you? Are you running any other mods together with this one? If yes, then check if the other mod is having some texture files too (*.utx). If so, the best thing is to take those individual texture files and put them back to your game folder after installing my mod.

Yes, you need either SWAT 4 alone or with The Stechkov Syndicate expansion pack installed already, because this is a mod only.
The text saying "full version" is related to the mod (not to the game) and means it is a full version of the mod (not anything else like patch, demoversion etc.). It does not come as a stand-alone package.

Actually, more weapons models and features changes are already available in many other mods for SWAT 4 here. It would also be way out of the scope of this mod, which is focused on replacing and optimizing textures only. Also the mod is done in a way to maximize compatibility with other SWAT 4 mods, so you may try to play this mod together with another gameplay-focused mod of your choice, it should work..
For more details of what to expect from this mod, please see my previous reply to kirito2437.

Thank you:)
Also the main focus about the tactical gear was to make it look more like real-life equipment, so the new textures are actually modeled by real photos..

I'm happy you like the changes done in this mod.
But please don't get too overexcited about it. It's not going to be any complete redesign but more like a polish to the original game. Take into account the engine is the same, models are the same, animations are the same, the only thing that is different are the textures and it's not enough to do miracles.
The feeling from the mod will be close to the original game, just more polished, more sharpened, more optimized and balanced colors and more details wherever deemed fit.

@Drcerealyoutube: Grimpast is absolutely correct. The original weapon models simply do not have any triggers modeled in, so as this mod changes only textures, it is unable to add such a thing in the model appearance.

I'm glad you like it. :) I chose this way because it's easy for installation and maximizes compatibility with all versions of the game as well as with other mods.
As for the mod itself, I'm finishing it these days, so it should be available for download already next week.

It will overwrite the original texture files, so a recommendation to back them up will be included in the installation instructions.

The mod consists of texture files only, so it should be compatible with all versions of the game.
