I am Mclaren, I am a big Fan of RTS gaming, and particularly the Command and Conquer, and Earth series's. I am learning a little coding, but mostly i am just great at coming up with ideas for story, and units, as well as feedback. I am currently working on the Fall of Nations mod. and Leading the Tiberium Secrets mod. check out my downloads where i have placed a small modification called Basic patch and its source code.

will infantry be able to ride it? AA vehicles/ ships are awfully specialized for an FPS so it might be nice to add a machine gun or 2, or perhaps allow it to be used as a ferry

we don't really need 2D models unless you count the Pretty pictures of the Units and Structures, we do need those, but its not a high Priority. no if you want to model for us you will need to know 3d Modeling, talk to me on Skype we might be able to help there.

the plan is to Focus on D51, as they will be an easier faction to make. the Colony on the Other hand, we will want to add large amounts of animation (pulsing, throbbings, undulating, multiple limbs), special build mechanics such that we cant do right, now and will want much more experience before we work on that

as 1 modder to another keep up the good work, i know myself the difficulties of IRL and working on multiple mods. id love to help code for you but not sure how much i could do i am certainly not at the level of your coders and likely i would benefit more than you if i got my hands on your codes, still you could use me to bounce ideas off of, and maybe code and balance the occasional weapon.

D51 Infantry will be decked out in heavy armor, they will be Tankifantry. D51 will not be an infantry focused faction though, infantry are usually very weak, and D51 has no room for weakness.

IMO and the way i am going to work things Railguns give GDI vehicles Armor piercing type Ammo with no AOE, while the regular cannons i am giving a low AOE and am making Special Tanks that use HE rounds to decimate infantry and structures, imo Railguns and HE don't mix railguns send projectiles at such a speed they pierce through anything, stick a beanbag full of metal beans in a Railgun and it will still pierce Armor plating or more likely the bag will shred and you'll get an armor piercing shotgun, ooh i like that idea ITS ALL MINE!!

oh as the Railgun is Armor Piercing and has no AOE it has to be accurate, the issue with that is that if you so much as cut the spread in half of the Juggy it become's overpowered, its got a lot more raw power than you think, ofc i am talking about vanilla juggy, but you get the idea, you'd probably have to reduce the damage if you made it more accurate.

i liked the weakspots they did in Star Wars battlefront 2 they were usually in hard locations often making them trickshots and hard for other vehicles to exploit, gave a good fighter with a missile a chance though

could buff the health of the apache and the hind for that matter, then increase the weakspot areas Apache and Hind are meant for close air support they have to have some armor to cover for that

The Tessla tank is a bit of a glass cannon anyways, i dont recall it being able to take much of a hit and this wont help, and with that damage bonus shrink the door area, mostly only infantry should be able to exploit it, with vehicles it makes things worse

actually it is possible, the build range for the Scrin Growth accelerator can be increased if needed, which would allow the liquid T power plant to do so as well, the only issue is the Growth Stimulator being built outside of the crack, and the build radius would not necessarily be connected to Nod build radius of course Zeus could just make the Liquid tiberium Power plant buildable just over the crack, and make sure it is capture-able so it isn't exploited. (yeah no dropping on the enemy tiberium field and the setting off, if they can capture it first)

I at least plan on Making a Nod Powerplant for that very purpose

I think you just Put Westwood's Advanced Power Plant to shame parhaps since its a liquid Tiberium Power Plant you could make a requirement that it is built Near a Tiberium Field

However the description should read: When it is destroyed it will explode damaging everything in a massive radius.
