Runs fine to me even without mod launcher.
just follow my steps.
1) Extract the zip file that contains patch.
2) Copy the "FOLDER" that contains these files "config.txt,Unofficial Patch 1.04_0.2.skudef, Unofficial Patch 1.04_0.2_Misc.big and Unofficial Patch 1.04_0.2_Streams.big" into your CNC3 Kane's Wrath installation folder.
3) Rename the folder with this name "Patch1.04" (without quotes or space)
4) Open this file (if your game is English) "CNC3EP1_english_1.2.SkuDef" by using notepad. Also don't forget to backup this file btw.
5) Copy this line "add-config Patch1.04\config.txt" (without quotes) and paste this in the second line on your notepad, then save it.
Run the game If you saw the "Unofficial Patch 1.04" under the CNC3KW logo it means the mod is installed.
